This one is difficult to master and it’s as annoying to go up against because it gives your opponent a free short window of invulnerability. Here is how you can counter and deal with the Afterimage Strike skill in Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero.

What Is Afterimage Strike In Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero?

Afterimage Strike is a Skill in Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero that costs 3 Skill points and makes you invulnerable to most attacks for 15 seconds since activation. The annoying part of facing a player using it is the fact that there is no visual indicator or animation that lets you know that your opponent is currently in Afterimage Strike mode.

To counter and deal with the enemy using Afterimage Strike in Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero, pay attention to your opponent’s skill points. It is easy to understand that Afterimage Strike has been activated if you notice 3 skill points being used but no attack, transformation, or fusions come out of it.

Once you can predict your opponent’s Afterimage Strike, the next thing is to avoid fighting for the next 15 seconds until their Afterimage Strike is over. Keep your distance and counter those dashes as much as you can while dishing out some basic attacks if they get too close.

You can also try entering Sparking Mode and keeping your enemy at bay using Ki blasts as you bide your time. Ki blasts and basic attacks can damage your opponent even when they are in Afterimage Strike mode. While all characters can effectively counter Afterimage strike with the right strategy in Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero, not all of them can use it.
