With a whopping roster of 181 playable characters, Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero has got DBZ fans excited to be able to play as their favorite ones. Not only does the game feature these unique characters but you also get to use transformations to go Super Saiyan or even perform a fusion of two characters and combine the might of both into one. Here is a complete guide on transformations and fusions in Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero.

How To Use Transformations In Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero

To perform a transformation in-game, hold Up on the D-Pad which will bring up the transformation menu, here you will have up to four transformation options that can be selected by pressing the corresponding button shown next to it. Transformation and Fusion in Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero cost Skill points, you can check how many you currently have on the top left corner of your screen.

When a transformation is possible, the blue circle with an arrow will appear next to the Skill points which can also have a number attached to it to indicate how many transformations are possible with the amount of Skill points you have. However, not all characters are able to transform, you can check the transformation options of any character during the character selection screen.

They also work differently on some characters compared to others, for example; Goku being a Saiyan can transform directly to Super Saiyan 2 or even revert back to base from Super Saiyan 2. While someone like Frieza requires you to progressively transform from the slightly stronger transformation to the most powerful version. Fusions require your character to be the base version so the revert mechanic comes in handy for that.

How To Use Fusions In Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero

Transformations and fusions in Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero are performed in the same way by holding Up on the D-pad, but you can then press the shoulder buttons (R1, RB) to switch to the fusion menu. You will have up to four options and you can select the one you want by pressing the corresponding button.

However, only certain combinations of two characters can fuse, and it is a permanent effect that you cannot revert. So think twice before fusing, as it can give you benefits like increased health and different moves but it will also take away the ability to switch between two characters.

All Fusion Combinations In Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero

Here are all the convictions of two characters that can come together and perform a fusion in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero:

    • Goten + Kid Trunks: Gotenks
    • Goku (Z-End) + Vegeta (Z-End): Gogeta or Vegito
    • Goku (GT) Super Saiyan 4 + Vegeta (GT) Super Saiyan 4: Gogeta (GT) Super Saiyan 4
    • Goku (Super) + Vegeta (Super): Gogeta or Vegito
    • Goku Black + Zamasu: Fused Zamasu
    • Kale + Caulifla: Kefla

Transformations and Fusions in Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero can be fun and rewarding when used correctly. Always remember that fusions require you to revert to the base version of the character if you have used a transformation on the listed characters above.
