Memento is one of the many collectibles you’ll find inside the Kingdom of Pharloom in Hollow Knight: Silksong. They’re items for decoration that you can use to make your Bellhome look like a real one. Some of these Mementoes are locked behind Act 3, so you need to progress quite a bit before you can collect all of them. Here’s how to collect every Memento located inside the Kingdom of Pharloom in Hollow Knight: Silksong.
Memento #1 | Surface Memento
The first Memento is located inside the Nameless Town, accessed at the top of The Cradle in Hollow Knight: Silksong. Begin at the location as shown on the map above. Use Silk Soar to enter the next area through an opening at the top. In the next area, continue climbing up with your Cling Grip, then use your Silk Soar again to enter the Nameless Town via an entrance at the top.
As soon as you enter the Nameless Town, continue right until you reach the far end of the region. You’ll find a house here. Use your Needolin ability to play an elegy, which will cause the Surface Memento to drop from the ceiling.
Memento #2 | Craw Memento
To unlock the Craw Memento, you need to defeat the Court of Craws in Act 3 of Hollow Knight: Silksong. Check Bellhart occasionally to obtain the Craw Summons. Once you’ve collected them, head to the area located on the map above, near the entrance to Verdania in Greymoor. Here, you’ll be able to submit your Craw Summons and open the entrance below, where you need to drop down. Check our guide here for a detailed path to get the Craw Summons Memento.
Once you’re inside the area, head left and drop down again at the far end to come to the Court of Craws boss fight arena. Here, you must fight them, then defeat the Crawfather, which will reward you with the Craw Memento.
Memento #3 | Grey Memento
The Grey Memento is obtained by defeating the Watcher at the Edge in Sands of Karak in Hollow Knight: Silksong. Begin at the location as shown on the image above, then use your Silk Soar ability to climb up and head left to the next area. In the next area, continue left until you come across the Watcher at the Edge standing still. Use your Needolin skill here to trigger the boss fight.
After defeating the Watcher at the Edge, he’ll turn into stone, then break down. As soon as he breaks down, he’ll drop the Grey Memento for you to pick up.
Memento #4 | Conjoined Heart
To obtain the Conjoined Heart Memento, you need to complete the Green Prince’s Quest in Act 3 of Hollow Knight: Silksong. The Green Prince is located inside Verdania. Begin in the area on the map above and enter the next area through the door above. In the next area, head right, climb up the opening, then go left to meet the Green Prince at his home.
Interact with the Green Prince to start the Clover Dancers. Defeat the Clover Dancers, and you’ll be transported back to the area you came from. The Conjoined Heart Memento will be there beside the Green Prince’s body. Pick it up to unlock the Lamenter Achievement/Trophy, which will conclude the Green Prince’s Questline.
Memento #5 | Hero’s Memento
To obtain the Hero’s Memento, you need to complete Hero’s Call Wish in Act 3 of Hollow Knight: Silksong. The Hero’s Call can be done easily by defeating Lost Garmond inside Blasted Steps. Once you’ve defeated the boss, you’ll receive the Hero’s Memento as a reward. This will also unlock the Hero’s Call Achievement/Trophy.
Memento #6 | Sprintmaster Memento
The Sprintmaster Memento can be obtained by completing the final race after the Fastest in Pharloom Wish in Act 3 of Hollow Knight: Silksong. Sprintmaster Swift will be located to the far right of Far Fields, as shown in the image above. Talk with the Sprintmaster to start the Fastest in Pharloom Wish, then race three laps and win to complete it.
Once you’ve completed the Fastest in Pharloom Wish, return to Sprintmaster Swift at a later time and talk to him again to start another race. This time, the race will consist of six laps. Win this final race, then interact with Swift, and he’ll offer you the Sprintmaster Memento as a token of appreciation.
Memento #7 | Hunter’s Memento
To obtain the Hunter’s Memento, you need to complete the Hunter’s Journal in Hollow Knight: Silksong. Hornet keeps a Journal of all the enemy types and how many times she has defeated these specific enemies. You must eliminate certain enemy types a set number of times, as mentioned in the Hunter’s Journal, to unlock the Hunter’s Memento. This will take some time, as you need to defeat a plethora of enemies quite a few times before you can unlock it. Keep checking your progress in the Hunter’s Journal occasionally.
Memento #8 | Guardian’s Memento
To obtain the Guardian’s Memento, you need to beat Seth’s records at Leatopia in the Putrified Ducts in Hollow Knight: Silksong. First, you must fight him as the Shrine Guardian. Start at the Grand Gate location on the map above, climb up, and then keep heading left until you come across Shrine Guardian Seth.
Here, you must challenge Shrine Guardian Seth to begin the boss fight. After defeating him, you need to find Seth in Greymoor and Shellwood. Besting Shrine Guardian Seth also opens up the path to get to the Heart of the Woods.
The first image shows Seth’s location in Greymoor. From that location, go right and drop down to the ground to find Seth. On the other hand, the second image shows Seth’s location at Shellwood. From that area, go right to locate Seth standing alone. Here, you need to interact with him to send him to Leatopia.
You’ll find Seth at the location on the map above. Interact with him to find out about the games he’s been playing there. Hornet will reply about beating his high score.
After interacting with him, head right to the scoreboard and check your scores. Once you’ve beaten Seth’s high scores, go back to Seth at Letopia again, and he’ll give you the Guardian’s Memento as a reward.
Memento #9 | Encrusted Heart
To obtain the Encrusted Heart, use the Conjoined Heart as part of the Dark Hearts wish, and you’ll get the Encrusted Heart from Crust King Khaan at the Coral Tower as a Memento instead. This brings us to the end of all 9 Mementoes in Hollow Knight: Silksong.
