Some quests in RoadCraft will have you exploring certain locations to find what you are looking for. Sometimes, the answer will be right in front of you, while other times, you have to think hard and follow clues to locate certain items. As you keep playing the game, you will get a quest objective to explore an Abandoned Facility in Precipice and recover a generator. The generator itself is hidden away, so this guide will explain where to go and retrieve it in RoadCraft.
Abandoned Facility Location In RoadCraft
Obtaining the generator from the Abandoned Facility will be tricky, as the generator is located up on the roof. First, you need to locate the Abandoned Facility, which can be found past the Pumping Station. Once you reach Forward Base as part of the main story quest, you can head further south till you go past Orange Groove and the Pumping Station to find the Abandoned Facility.
The road towards the facility is a bit tricky to navigate, as you might get stuck in the muddy pathways. You can use the Terrain Scanner to scan your surroundings and navigate through the best route available. Once you reach the facility, you will automatically unlock the objective to retrieve the generator.
Generator Location
Use your Object Scanner to scan your surroundings, and you will get a marker on where the generator is located. Unfortunately, the generator is on the upper levels of the facility, and the only way to get up there is to draw down several wooden bridges as you make your way up. First, head over to the marked location above, which is to the west of the facility. You need to get behind the building to find the first drawbridge.
Go up the ramp and nudge the wooden board with your vehicle to knock it down, then go up it and go left to do the same to the other wooden board. Don’t go down just yet, take the ramp that goes up beside it and knock down the other wooden board. You can now go down and cross over to the next area. Go left and head up the ramp to find the generator.
But don’t pick it up yet, head right, and knock down the wooden board here first. Reverse your vehicle towards the generator and hook it up, then drive forward carefully towards the ramp you knocked over. Be careful while making the turn, as the generator can get stuck between the steel rods. Go down the final ramp and you will notice a yellow circle nearby.
You need to drive inside it with the generator still attached to your vehicle to complete the objective. As your reward, you will receive 1200 EXP and 2520 money.
