Our first double Uptie 5 drop, both wielders of Lifetime Stew have gotten their day in the sun. While Lifetime Stew Don was an alright addition, Sinclair’s variant might just be even better. Lifetime Stew Sinclair was already decent thanks to its low cost and EGO Resource Amp, but hasn’t been a mainstay in a bit.
Personally, I never used Lifetime Stew since I only got The One Who Shall Grip Sinclair recently, but his newfound niche for Dawn Office Sinclair has had me chomping at the bit to snag it. The Spinchains are a high cost, though, so let’s take a look at how the Uptie 5 performs.
Lifetime Stew Sinclair Uptie 5 – Whether It Is Worth It Answered
Lifetime Stew Sinclair Uptie 5 is a fantastic, cheap heal that allows for crazy amounts of EGO resource generation and pushes Sinclair’s damage even further. If paired with the right unit, he gets a free 10% damage boost that helps everywhere, while the newly Unbreakable coin makes it impossible for the EGO to dud.
If you’ve got Sinclair EGO Shards lying around or managed to snag Lifetime Stew amidst all your pulls, I’d highly recommend pushing it to the new limit. One of the game’s strongest lineups has gotten even better, no complaints from me! Let me give you a detailed comparison between Uptie 4 and 5, and my reasoning for why I recommend Uptie 5.
Comparing Lifetime Stew Sinclair Uptie 4 and Uptie 5
Since Lifetime Stew is a TETH EGO, it’ll require a sizeable resource investment to get to Uptie 5, alongside the already solid price of getting it to Uptie 4. Once it reaches the old cap of 4, it’ll cost 150 Spinchains to finalize, created via Thread or EGO Shards.
That’s a whole lot of gas to pump into a Season 1 EGO, so allow me to show you just how much of a difference those Spinchains make.
Uptie 4 Lifetime Stew

At Uptie 4, Sinclair’s variant of Lifetime Stew is a single negative coin Lust Blunt Skill with Base Power 18 and Coin Power -8. Lifetime Stew costs 3 Wrath EGO resources, 2 Lust EGO resources, and 1 Gluttony resource. The EGO is indiscriminate, targeting random allies and enemies with its sizable 7 Attack Weight. The main target is always the unit with the lowest HP on the field, ally or enemy.
If an ally is targeted, Lifetime Stew does no damage to them. Instead, it grants a different positive effect based on whether the coin flipped heads or tails. On a heads hit, targeted allies are healed for 10% of Sinclair’s maximum HP. On a tails hit, enemies are inflicted with 7 Burn Potency, while allies gains 2 Haste and 1 EGO Resource Amp.
EGO Resource Amp is a very rare buff to come by, only found on this EGO and Ryoshu’s Soda variant. Any unit with it gains extra EGO resources from their attacks for the turn, based on the effect’s stack. This is a stellar way to amplify resource gain, especially in teams with extra unopposed attacks like the current Dawn Office lineup.
Lifetime Stew Sinclair’s passive, Stew Spewage, allows any tails coin hit to inflict 1 Burn to enemies. Simple, but a decent buff to The One Who Shall Grip Sinclair, the main user of this EGO for the longest time, though even now the Gluttony cost can be awkward in non-Mirror Dungeon content.
The Corrosion is quite a bit weaker, a Blunt Lust Skill with Base Power 24 and Coin Power -12. With only 3 Attack Weight, the EGO still aims for the weakest unit, while losing the healing effect. Before the attack goes off, Sinclair spends 3 random EGO resources to boost the damage by 30%. On hit, the coin inflicts 2 Burn Count.
Overall, this EGO was a half-decent buffing EGO that struggled to land when enemies were the only target. Uptie 5 changes all of that.
Uptie 5 Lifetime Stew

Once it’s been amplified to Uptie 5, Lifetime Stew Sinclair becomes a single Unbreakable negative coin Lust Blunt Skill with Base Power 24 and Coin Power -8. Lifetime Stew costs 3 Wrath resources and 2 Lust resources, while losing the Gluttony cost.
The EGO retains its 7 Attack Weight and targets the weakest unit on the field. Any allies hit don’t take damage and don’t proc their Defensive Skills, saving them for incoming enemies. On Clash loss, the attack loses 8 Base Power.
On hit, the coin deals damage to enemies and heals allies based on the number of allies affected and a percentage of Sinclair’s max HP. All allies hit also gain 1 EGO Resource Amp and 2 Haste on the next turn. On a tails hit, Sinclair inflicts 7 Burn Potency.
For the Corrosion, Lifetime Stew Sinclair is a Lust Blunt Skill with Base Power 28 and Coin Power -12. If the clash is lost, the Skill loses 12 Final Power. The EGO still loses its healing properties, but can hit much harder, amplified by consumed EGO resources and the Burn on all targets.

On hit, the Corroded coin inflicts 2 Burn, 2 Burn Count, and, if it hits without cracking, deals extra Lust damage if EGO resources were used to boost the damage. A much bigger bang for your buck if you really need the heavy hit.
This is already a far more flexible EGO now, but let’s look at the upgrade to Stew Spewage.
Lifetime Stew maintains the Burn application on Tails hit, but now also gains unique properties as long as it’s run on a Burn ID. If the attack inflicts Burn or Burn Count and is a Plus Coin Skill, Sinclair heals 4 SP, or deals 10% extra damage if his SP is higher than 40. If the attack inflicts Burn or Burn Count and is a Negative Coin Skill, he instead loses 4 SP or deals 10% extra damage if he is below -25 SP.
This buffs the EGO heavily with its old primary users, the One Who Shall Grip, while giving it a new use case: Dawn Office Fixer Sinclair. Not only can a burn/Tremor team running the Dawn Office easily pay for the EGO’s cost now that Gluttony isn’t a factor, but the extra sanity helps keep Dawn Sinclair going, while buffing him with even further damage if he’s paired with the rest of his Office.
