The Snowgrave Route, or Weird Route in Deltarune, gets disturbing with each chapter, and it reaches an extreme level in Chapter 4. This route features plenty of decision-making to trigger the Weird Ending at the end. Here is a full guide to the Deltarune Chapter 4 Weird Route.
Triggering the Weird Route for Chapter 4
You can start the Weird Route or Snowgrave Route in Chapter 4 only if you have done so in Chapters 2 and 3 as well. If you have taken part in the Weird Route in Chapters 2 and 3, Chapter 4 starts with you being inside Noelle’s house.
- Here, head to the upper floor to get to Noelle’s room. Right next to the bed, in front of the closet space, you will find a guitar lying on the door.
- Interact with the guitar and Kris will drop to the ground to pull a Red Heart or a soul out of the guitar.
- Get out of the room, and Kris will put the Red Heart into the drawer next to Noelle’s door.
- Noelle will then ask Kris to join her in her room.
- Kris will then pull the Red Heart from the drawer, take the staircase to get down to the lower floor, and open the door right next to the stairs.
- The room will have plenty of gift boxes, Kris will put the Red Heart into the open gift box on the left.
- The Red Heart will emerge from the gift box and move the larger box to head inside the vents.
- Now just head straight until you reach the end of the line, and take the left path to enter the vents of Noelle’s room.
- Here you will see Noelle talking to Kris about the events of last night.
Decisions for Noelle Dialogues
After Kris tells his side of the story, Noelle replies with “Kris, can I… say something else?” Here, choose Proceed. Once you hit Proceed, you can move the Red Heart around the room. Move the Red Heart to Kris.
- …Who…? Who’s going to hear? – Choose Me.
- …Ha… ha… Kris, that’s… another joke, right…? – Choose Because it wasn’t a dream.
- …What did you say? I must have misheard you. – Choose, I heard.
- … I… I didn’t say anything! – Choose. It’s not a coincidence.
- Pick between Red or Blue – Choose Red or Blue
- Say Green or Black – Choose Green or Black.
- Say it didn’t happen, or it didn’t snow – Choose. It snowed
- After Noelle says you are lying, Choose Noelle becomes stronger.
- When Noelle asks, What did you say – Choose Equip.
- When Kris shows an item to Noelle, choose Proceed.
The last dialogue option will end with a tragic scene.
Decisions in the Church
Next line of dialogue all ends in the same choices, just hit Proceed and Equip to continue the conversation until Kris puts the throne on Noelle. Kris will then end up in the bathroom, taking his anger out on the trash can. After the conversation, you will make your way to the church, where you will see Ralsei. She will ask you
- Kris, rather than following her… Why don’t we just…close our eyes…And think about what she might be doing in there?– Choose Seems Unnecessary.
- Perhaps if you just closed them for a moment? – Choose Don’t.
- …Maybe we could think of someone else? – Choose Think of Noelle.
That’s the last bit of action until you see a red dot on the screen with the line Thank you. In the end, you will see Kris on the bed with his Red Heart inside the cage on a cart.
