How to Save Game, Respawn, and Revive in RV There Yet?

When you first start playing RV There Yet?, figuring out how to save progress, respawn after death, or revive your friends can be a bit confusing. The game doesn’t explain these mechanics clearly, which can make things tricky, especially when you’re in the middle of a chaotic trip and someone takes a tumble down a mountain.

Saving, respawning, and reviving in RV There Yet? are tied to the game’s checkpoints and shared inventory system. Unlike other survival games, you can’t just pause or manually save whenever you want.

The game uses automatic saving tied to your progress, and the respawn or revive system depends on where you and your team are in the world.

How Saving Works in RV There Yet?

There’s no manual save option in RV There Yet?. The game automatically saves your progress whenever you reach specific checkpoints, usually when you arrive at new areas like gas stations. This means you don’t need to pause or look for a “Save Game” option in the menu, it simply isn’t there.

If you’re worried about losing progress, make sure to keep moving forward and reach those checkpoints. Once you do, the game will save automatically. That way, if something goes wrong, like losing items, crashing, or dying, you’ll respawn or reload near the last checkpoint you passed.

Where and How to Respawn in RV There Yet?

Currently, there isn’t a direct “respawn” button you can press after dying. If you die far away from your friends, they’ll usually have to come down and revive you. However, there is a workaround.

When you reach a new gas station checkpoint, a grave appears there. These graves act as respawn points where you or your teammates can be revived.

So, if you’ve unlocked a nearby gas station before dying, your friends can bring you back there instead of trekking across the map. You’ll also want to stay alert while exploring, since wandering too far from your RV can attract Bears and other threats that can easily take you down if you’re not careful.

If you die somewhere your team can’t reach, your only real option is to wait until they hit a new checkpoint or revive you using an item like an EpiPen. There’s no instant respawn that brings you back automatically.

Reviving in RV There Yet? is done using EpiPens, which are part of the shared inventory in the RV. These EpiPens act like extra lives for your group. While managing the RV’s supplies, you’ll also need to add Engine Oil occasionally to keep the vehicle running smoothly during long drives and repairs.

When a teammate collapses, walk up to them and press F when the prompt appears. This will use up one EpiPen and bring your friend back to life. You’ll see the EpiPen count go down by one as the revival animation plays.

It’s a good idea to always keep a few EpiPens stored in the RV since everyone shares the same inventory. Once you run out, you’ll need to find or craft more before anyone else can be revived.

RV There Yet? keeps things simple but also a bit mysterious when it comes to saving and respawning. As you explore further, keep your RV stocked, reach new checkpoints regularly, and make sure your team has enough EpiPens to survive unexpected falls or accidents.
