Most of Deltarune Chapter 5’s boss encounters come in pairs, and the duo fight against Orange and Green is no different. These two make a mighty pair, with Green focusing on buffing Orange throughout the fight, enabling her to unleash devastating Omega attacks.
They can be a bit of a roadblock, so let me walk you through how to handle this combo of fists and fire!
Where to Fight Orange and Green

As you’re ascending through the Flower Castle, you’ll eventually start running into a giant shadow puppet hiding amidst the tapestries of the background. This is Orange, and her boxing gloves can be deflected while you climb to knock down other projectiles and open bonus paths.
You’ll know you’re close when you’ve made it through the Second Diner, gotten past the Foxes, and met Orange’s true form.

Once you find the Flower Castle Right View save point, you’ll know you’re right outside the boss room. Head to the right for a goofy interaction and some bonus gear before making your way inside. You’ll need every assist you can get!
Battling Orange and Green

For the majority of the battle, Orange is the damage and Green is support. Attacks are split between Green attempting to empower Orange, and Orange’s devastating Omega attacks.
Green’s attacks consist of damaging fire and healing food that Orange will attempt to gather at the bottom of the combat menu. Your goal is to intercept the food before it gets to Orange, netting you some extra healing and halting Orange from using her most powerful attacks. Every time she gets 5, she’ll let loose an Omega Attack.
Grazing the fire and nabbing the healing food will get you extra TP, which is needed to use the costly ACTs meant to clear the fight. You can target either Orange or Green, with your choice deciding the final attack of the battle.
For Orange, use GetAlong, and for Green use Feast! Either way, you’ll need to cast your selected ACT 4 times to end the fight. That means plenty of TP and plenty of opportunities for Orange to cast her Omega Attacks, so get ready for the long haul.
For the pair’s basic attacks, stick to the bottom of the box to give yourself the most time to dodge the fire and line up for the food. The patterns will get harder and harder to intercept, so you’re bound to need to deal with Orange’s Omega attack.

During the Omega attack, focus on dipping inside the circles of gloves when they first open, then slipping out as they open again. Continue to dive between the circles until the attack ends. It hits hard and is difficult to dodge, so focus on denying Orange as many food drops as possible.
Once you fill either Green or Orange’s Mercy gauges, the focused boss will use their ultimate attack. Personally, Orange’s was a bit easier to handle. The attack is far more telegraphed, tasking you with staying between floating gloves as Orange manipulates their momentum around the screen.

Whatever direction she dashes, the gloves will get pulled along, requiring you to mentally plan out where they’ll end up. Orange speeds up as the attack progresses, so aim to use spacious openings as safe zones.
If you end up ACTing on Green instead, they’ll surround the arena in a trio of frying pans, juggling fires between them. The fires will bounce once, so try to keep in motion with the first set to not get overwhelmed.

Once you survive either attack, both Green and Orange will be spared! Congratulations, that’s two more flowers down, only three to go!
