Deltarune Chapter 5 – All 5 Foxes Locations

Deltarune Chapter 5 is chock full of different collectibles throughout its impressive runtime, with some spread across the entire Dark World and others bound to select areas. While you’re progressing through Chapter 5, you’ll eventually be stopped by Aqua, one of the flower Darkners tasked with barring your path. She’ll ask you to find 3 Foxes hidden in the immediate area.

While she only requires 3, finding all 5 hidden Foxes above the Flower Castle’s Second Diner will net you a bonus reward crucial for finding the secret boss of the Chapter. If that’s enough motivation, let me show where each is!

    Fox 1 – Tapestry Hallway

Directly to the right of Aqua, you’ll see a series of paw print projectiles moving up and down behind some tapestries. First, carefully dodge through the initial four.

Once you’re past them, you’ll be staring down a much longer line. On first sighting it looks nigh impossible to fully dodge, luckily one projectile in the chain is a fake!

Just like their bullet patterns, one of the Foxes is disguised as a projectile, namely the fourth from the left. You’ll be able to sit inside it without taking damage, and can interact with it to claim your very first Fox!

    Foxes 2&3 – Terakota Armory

Walk back to the left and enter the sliding door to the right of the stairwell heading up. Within you’ll find a Fox out in the open, hopping amongst a crowd of seemingly dormant Terakota.

When you approach, the Fox will run to other openings in the crowd, leading you directly into the active Terakota hidden amongst the fakes. Facing any will defeat them all, so take the time to water these guardians while you continue your hunt. Keep following the Fox, and it’ll eventually give up, allowing you to snag it.

The third Fox is posing as one of the empty Terakota suits itself. Head to the bottom right of the room and push the suit third to the left in the very bottom row off the stage. As it falls, the Fox will reveal itself, hiding in your pocket and adding itself to your collection.

    Fox 4 – Hopping Stones

With those three secured, move to the upper right of the Terakota room to find an open door. Behind it is a chamber with a single button and a tapestry apparently hiding a whole pack of hopping Foxes!

Sadly, only one of these furry friends is real, as exposed when you lift the veil by standing on the button. While you could use the process of elimination to move every stone out of the way until only the real fox remains, take one stone and place it on the button itself!

Now you can easily walk straight up to the Fox and pick it up, securing a fourth!

    Fox 5 – Changing Room

Return to the Terakota room and head to the upper left. Amidst the still suits of armor you can reveal a hidden door built into the back wall. Continue behind it to find a small room with Yellow behind a screen, changing his boots.

Interact with the veil to reveal the final Fox in place of Yellow, who is either way shocked to see you. With that final Fox secured, you can return to the sealed Fox door for your reward!

    All Foxes Rewards

With all the Foxes secured, you can enter the sealed room to the left of the hallway. Within you’ll find a single Fox, hopping and happy to see you! Interact with it to reveal its true form as a chest, holding one of the 19 Pink Coins hidden around Chapter 5.

You’ll need 10 Pink Coins to find the Secret Boss, so finding every Fox will get you well on your way to opening the path.
