Each region in Hollow Knight: Silksong offers unique Wishes that you could pick up from the Wishboard or from NPCs. The Broodfeast is given to you by the Huntress, and for the quest, she requires peculiar items. Locating these items will take you all across the map, which is quite a chore. To make things easier, we have listed out the steps to complete this quest quickly, so keep reading below.
How to Complete the Broodfeast Quest in Hollow Knight: Silksong
You will receive this quest from The Huntress, located at Putrified Ducts, and for the quest, she requires the following items:
- 15x Seared Organs
- 35x Shredded Organs
- 10x Skewered Organs
The Huntress is found at the lower levels of the Putrified Ducts, and there are two ways to get to this location. If you go through the Memorium, go through the opening on the eastern section of the area to get to Putrified Ducts, then go further east, drop down, and go west to find The Huntress.
Otherwise, you could also get here through Bilehaven. This requires defeating the area boss at the northwestern section of Bilehaven, right at the top level, and unlocking the rooftop access into Putrified Ducts. This leads you directly to the home of the Huntress, and all you have to do is enter her lair to find her.
How to Get Longclaw in Silksong
The Longclaw is the end reward for completing the Huntress’ wish, which requires you to collect the Seared Organs, Shredded Organs, and Skewered Organs. As for acquiring these items, there are no particular enemies that drop them. Rather, you need to kill targets using certain weapons to get the required body part. Let’s take a look at how to get each of these organ types for the Huntress.
How to Get Seared Organs in Silksong
Seared Organs are obtained by defeating enemies using the Flintslate tool or Conchcutter. To acquire the Flintslate, you need to explore the eastern section of Deep Docks. You will also require a Simple Key to unlock that area, and the Swift Step skill to help you jump across the gaps. If you have unlocked the Forge Daughter NPC, then just go east from her location to find a table containing the Flintslate.
As for the Conchcutter, you need to explore the Sands of Karak and get to the Coral Tower in the northwestern section of the region. Head inside to get the Conchcutter, then use it on random enemies to collect Seared Organs.
How to Get Shredded Organs in Silksong
Just like Seared Organs, Shredded Organs are obtained using the Cogwork Wheel or Delver’s Drill on enemies. For the Cogwork Wheel, you need to purchase it from the Twelfth Architect located at The Cauldron within the Underworks area. You have to take the eastern exit from Whiteward that drops down to the upper sections of the Cauldron’s east side. From the bench on the top floor, go east to find the Twelfth Architect and purchase the weapon from them.
Delver’s Drill is also located in the Underworks area, but this time you have to get to the southwestern corner of the region. The easiest way to get here is to drop down from the eastern path of Grand Gate, continue east to Underworks, drop down again, and go east to find the weapon.
How to Get Skewered Organs in Silksong
The Longpin or Sting Shard is great at dropping Skewered Organs when used on enemies. The Longpin is found in Shellwood. There is a secret section in the southeastern corner of the region. This area is blocked by a pink wasp’s nest located on the left wall. Destroying the nest will uncover the secret room holding the Longpin. As for the Sting Shard, visit the Forge Daughter and give her 1x Craftmetal and 140x Rosary. She will craft the Sting Shard for you to use.
After obtaining the required amount of organs, return to The Huntress in Hollow Knight Silksong and hand over all the items. In return, she will give you the Longclaw, which is an offensive weapon that occupies the blue slot. With the Longclaw equipped, it increases the ranged attack of Hornet’s needle.
