With the Dawning event in full swing at Destiny 2, you might have a chance to get some of the unique weapons from the gift pool. Each year, a new weapon gets added to the list of rewards, and this year is no different. You can try and get your hands on the Mistral Lift, a Legendary Linear Fusion Rifle. This is a void elemental weapon that fires a three-round burst, a second of its kind in Destiny 2. But to enhance its skills, you need to get the right perks and attachments for the perfect God Roll. In this guide we will show you the best Mistral Lift God Roll for PvP and PvE in Destiny 2.
Best Mistral Lift God Roll In Destiny 2
We have found that some attachments and perks work well with the Mistral Lift when it comes to PvP and PvE, but you can switch them out according to your playstyle. Let’s take a look at the God Rolls below.
Best PvE God Roll For Mistral Lift
- Barrel: Arrowhead Brake
- Battery: Enhanced Battery
- Trait 1: Envious Assassin/ Withering Gaze
- Trait 2: Bait and Switch/ Frenzy
- Masterwork: Charge Time/ Stability
- Origin Trait: Veist Stinger
- Weapon Mod: Backup Mag
Why This God Roll Works
We are going for a pretty standard God Roll when it comes to PvE. Let’s start with the barrel, here we have put up the Arrowhead Brake. This is a standard lightweight barrel that offers +10 Handling and +24 Recoil Control. Not only can you use it for PvE, but this is great for PvP too. Next, for the Battery, we have gone for Enhanced Battery for its increased magazine size.
Moving on to the Traits, Envious Assassin can overflow your magazine capacity if you switch weapons after defeating a target. If you are looking for something that can be used both in PvP and PvE, then you can use Withering Gaze which weakens targets when you aim at them without firing. For Trait 2, you can use Bait and Switch, which increases weapon damage if you use all your equipped weapons within a time limit. If this doesn’t work out, go for Frenzy to increase damage, handling, and reload the longer you are in battle.
For the Origin Trait, we found the Veist Stinger to be the best. This increases movement speed and reload speed while ADS after damaging an enemy. For Masterwork, either go for reduced Charge Time or increased Stability. Backup Mag weapon mod increases magazine size by +30.
Best PvP God Roll For Mistral Lift
- Barrel: Hammer-Forged Rifling/ Smallbore
- Battery: Projection Fuse
- Trait 1: Keep Away/ Moving Target
- Trait 2: High-Impact Reserves/ Vorpal Weapon
- Masterwork: Range
- Origin Trait: Veist Stinger
- Weapon Mod: Ballistics
Why This God Roll Works
If you are more interested in Range and Stability, then the Smallbore will be better for the Mistral Lift. But if you don’t mind skipping out on the +7 Stability, then go for the +10 Range using Hammer Forged Rifling. Projection Fuse further increases the range by +10, and the Ballistics weapon mod offers +6 Range and Stability. We are again going for Veist Stinger for the Origin Trait for increased movement and reload speed. We will further increase range by +10 with the Range masterwork.
Now, let’s go through the traits. Keep Away is a great trait to increase reload, range and accuracy, especially when there are no targets around. Or you can switch that out to Moving Target to increase movement speed and target acquisition while moving with ADS. In Trait 2, you can pick High Impact Reserves to get a damage buff when the gun reaches the end of the magazine. Vorpal Weapon will also increase damage, but against selected targets like bosses, vehicles, and Guardians, so you can pick either of the Traits.
These God Rolls will help you out in both of the game modes in Destiny 2, and you can quickly win matches with the Mistral Lift. If you are looking for more God Rolls, you can check out our Stay Frosty God Roll in Destiny 2.
