Limbus Company New Don Quixote EGO Explored, Next Banners Revealed

With a new EGO banner over the horizon, it’s officially kit reveal time! We don’t have the numbers, but we have enough to discuss what the new Don Quixote EGO “I’ll Go fer Scissors, How ‘Bout You?” will bring.

Alongside the expected reveal, we’ve got word on the new ID banner dropping alongside it, a Hong Lu Target Extraction loaded with his latest and greatest drops, making it perfect for anyone who still needs some shards to finish his Nursefather ID before the season ends.

I’ll Go fer Scissors Effects Revealed

Reactions to the reveal of a Zayin Don EGO this late in the season were middling to say the least, especially since our favorite Bloodfiend hasn’t had an ID drop since the very start of Season 7. While her Index Apprentice Identity is impossible to deny, I myself was bummed to see her drop relegated to an EGO.

With the kit revealed, though, it adds some great options to Envy-based teams Don thrives in, especially the Middle. While we don’t know everything, the new Don Quixote EGO’s basic functions are on the table, including it’s main effect.

Taking notes from the “Will You Play?” Abnormality from Railway 6, Don Quixote’s new EGO punishes the enemy for fighting back, while weakening them on hit if they don’t. It forces the foe into a major lose-lose scenario, while healing allies based on the team’s Envy Resonance.

Based on other Zayin-tier healing EGOs we’ve received, this will probably cap around 10~12%, a decent heal for the low cost. The biggest boon comes from her EGO Passive, amping her Envy damage, boosting her Offensive Level based on how many times she’s been hit, and inflicting Needle at combat start.

Giving the Middle some actual Bleed Count is a nice boost the team won’t scoff at, and if the Envy damage boost is sizable enough, Don’s middling Middle ID could be seen in a far better light.

To ensure we have some kind of ID content alongside the EGO drop, a Hong Lu Target Extraction will also be opening on the 5th, filled with Hong Lu powerhouses old and new.

Most notable is the increased drop rate for his Tremor-defining Cavernous Wailing EGO and his Bleed/Charge Ring Nursefather ID. Hong Lu might miss out on a few status teams’ upper echelons, but where he thrives, he dominates.

Make sure to take a look at the focused group of drops when it releases proper, as Project Moon always sneaks some heavy hitters in for a surprise when the banners actually drop.

If you’re curious about the teams most likely to thrive from the new Don Quixote EGO, take a look at our Middle Nursefather Outis build guide. Want to take on “Will You Play?” yourself and get an early look at her effects? My Railway 6 guide will lead you on the perfect path.
