RuneScape Dragonwilds offers a set of main story quests that will explain the whereabouts of the Dragon Queen. During the Dragon Slayer quest, the Wise Old Man will tell you to investigate the Blue Flame Door in a swamp. There are plenty of dangers to face already, and added to that, you need to locate and investigate the contents behind the door in question. Investigate The Blue Flame Door In RuneScape Dragonwilds
The Blue Flame Door is actually the entrance to a Vault that is located in the Whispering Swamp region. Make your way to the easternmost island, where you will find a large tree in the middle of the swamp water. The Blue Flame Door is located behind this tree. You can now enter this, and progress the Dragon Slayer quest to locate Cathan and see what he is up to.
Locate Cathan’s Whereabouts
Now that you have located the Blue Flame Door, you need to investigate the inside to find answers about Cathan. There is a locked room that you need to enter, and before you can get to this room, you need to explore the Vault. The Vault is filled with all sorts of enemies, but the paths around the Vault are quite linear. You can also encounter some Vault Guardian bosses who can drop Vault Cores here, so be sure to go after them. You will also find another locked Vault door, and for that, you need to find a lever to unlock it.
Eventually, you will reach an area filled with water at the base and a bunch of rat enemies hiding around the corner. Defeat them, then make your way up the lit path on the right. After you reach the top, don’t go straight any further. Rather, turn left and turn around to find a torch and a flight of stairs going up beside it. You will enter a room with a lever, and there is also a dying goblin named Spitfoot lying nearby. Speak to the goblin to learn about Cathan’s whereabouts, after which this objective will be cleared, and you can head back to the Wise Old Man to talk about your findings.
