The last test in Romeo’s journey to find Juliet is, as she puts it, her “pet.” The Last of the Famous Intergalactic Naked is a strange amalgamation of alien, astronaut, and geometric figures, turning the arena into a bullet hell for Romeo to run around in. You’ll find it at the end of the last stage, Subspace Hills.
Romeo is a Dead Man might not be the hardest game around, but its final boss has a few tricks it can do that might instantly kill you. If you’re having trouble with said attacks, or you just want to know about them beforehand, I’m here to help.
The Best Build To Beat The Last Of The Famous Intergalactic Naked

| Slot | Item | Description |
| Melee Weapon | Juggernaut | Steel fists for agile movement |
| Ranged Weapon | Nebuchadnezzar | Machine gun with quick attacks |
| Badge 1 | Fist Frankie | Increases Juggernaut’s attack by 15% |
| Badge 2 | Rifle Rafael | Increases Nebuchadnezzar’s attack by 15% |
| Badge 3 | Galan Esmeralda | Increases attack by 100%, lowers Emerald Flowsion while weapon is drawn |
| Bastards | FrostBolt | Freezes enemies |
Nebuchadnezzar is the ideal ranged weapon, letting you counter a lot of the fight’s dangerous moves. You can use whatever melee weapon feels right; personally, I used Juggernaut for my whole playthrough, mostly for its quick hits that allowed me to dodge between them with ease.
For Badges, it is highly dependent on your build. But for this stage of the game, Galan Esmeralda is a must; it raises your attack power by 100%, but it consumes Emerald Flowsion while your weapons are out. Just make sure you have over 1000 Flowsion, and you’ll be fine.
You don’t need any other consumables, since there aren’t any viruses or status aignments to worry about. If you want the extra help, making curry is ideal: a well made Katsu Force One increases your attack power by a fair amount.
The Last Of The Famous Intergalactic Naked Moveset

I’ll just call this the Final Boss, since it has an obnoxiously long name. It has a close-range attack where it swings some easily dodgeable blades, but if the first hit lands the second will, unless you have the Standing Badge equipped (found at the end of the Palace Athene Normal Difficulty).
The Final Boss’s main ranged option is a series of blue shots, which you’re better off running from than dodging. If you have any Bastards that draw aggro, this is a great opportunity to deal damage. The Boss often combines these blue shots with other attacks.
The spheres that float around the Boss can turn orange and start chasing you, but you can shoot them to explode them from afar. As seen in the build, the ideal weapon for this is the Nebuchadnezzar, not just for this attack but to counter one of two insta-kill moves.

The Boss can also create one of two bullet hell scenarios: either shoot multiple rounds of yellow pellets from the center of the stage, or put damaging lasers all around the arena. The second variant is the one to look out for, since the Boss is still mobile; put lock-on off and focus on avoiding the lasers rather than on the boss.
Sometimes, the Final Boss performs a grab attack, with the tell being a circle that expands from it on the floor. Once you know the tell, it’s easy to get out of the way.
The Instakill Moves

When the Boss is at 75% health or lower, it might teleport away from you and start charging a massive, Spirit Bomb-styled attack. While dodgeable, it’s easier to shoot it before he fires it; you’ll see the attack grow, which might be scary, but keep going until it bursts.
The real issue is the arena-wide, fire-based attack it does when lower than 50% health. On lower difficulties, you can tank it, but it’s preferable to knock the boss out of the attack. This is where the Bastards come in.

There are a few Bastards that can help you here, and if you’ve never used them, they come from the seeds that enemies sometimes drop. If you don’t have any seeds, buy some from The Last Night ship (the highest rarity) and grow them with Luna.
The ideal one you’re looking for is the FrostBolt Bastard. It will freeze the Boss, completely nullifying the attack. Once you get the Boss to half health, keep your FrostBolt (or similar) Bastard off cooldown, letting you avoid the attack altogether.
