The Way of Winter takes you on a treacherous journey across the frostbitten terrains of Northern Nalcott. You have to learn how to survive the cold winters, find a new place to put up your base, and learn how to craft new items to help you deal with the weather. But that should not stop you from locating new farming spots to get rare crafting materials.
If you have set up a base in Northern Nalcott, then you might need to find some farming areas nearby. This is especially crucial if you are out to find rare resources like gold, silver, and copper. Luckily, there are a few places you can check out to collect gold and silver in Once Human Way of Winter, and this guide will help you out.
Best Gold & Silver Farming Spot In Once Human Way of Winter
The best spot we have found for farming tons of silver, copper, and a few gold is near the Onyx Tundra – Chasm Obsidian’s East Blackstone teleportation tower. You can find the tower at coordinates (6186, 4160). The Way of Winter update offers tons of new farming spots for resources, so you can quickly pick up plenty of silver and copper from the get go. You might have a hard time trying to find gold, as these are extremely rare spawns, but you can still get the other two resources.
Surrounding the teleportation device are several copper and silver nodes to mine. If you are lucky, you can spot one or two gold nodes here too. Once you reach the teleportation tower, you can use your scope to check out your surroundings. The best places to find these ore nodes are around the teleportation tower, near the cliffside, up the hills, and down on the ground below. The area is teeming with mineral nodes, so you won’t have a hard time trying to mine them.
Pro Tip: A neat way to farm for gold, silver, or copper nodes is to change Worlds after you are done farming in your current World. Head back to the same location and you will spot several of the nodes that have respawned.
So, in short, heading over to the East Blackstone teleportation tower is your best bet to farm gold and silver in Once Human The Way of Winter. But this isn’t the only way, as you will always encounter silver and gold as you keep exploring the new region.
