The location of the Tar Pudding Deviant is in the Avalanche Monolith behind a nasty boss fight.

Unlike other Deviants, Tar Pudding will take some time to obtain it, follow the steps below to get clear concise details on what you need to do first.

    • The first thing you should do is to talk to Lowe in Camp Igloo, to unlock three different Deviant quests, One of the quests will direct us to Tar Pudding Deviant, While others will be about Snowsprite Deviant and Mr. Wish.
    • You will soon find out that reaching the location for Tar Pudding Deviant is more difficult than you thought, Here we have to do specific objectives to unlock the route to Tar Pudding Deviant.

We will find the Tar Pudding Deviant in Avalanche Monolith in Vena Fjord. While it all sounds easy to pull off, to actually get to the location, we will need to go through the Avalanche Monolith Danger Zone located North of the Avalanche Monolith.

    • To activate the Avalanche Monolith we first have to activate four Rift Anchors scattered throughout the Vena Fjord map. The Monolith in Avalanche Monolith can only be challenged after activating all the Rift Anchors in the Vena Fjord Region.
    • They are easy to spot, you can see the location of Rift Anchors (Backward ‘C‘)on the map, just like the Rift Anchors you encountered in the main storyline, the Update Way of the Winter follows the same structure here as well.

Note: You will find the Rift Anchors near abandoned towns or dilapidated structures, once you get close to any of the Anchors, you will see a purple light.

    • After activating all the Rift Anchors, it’s time to come face to face against the level 30 Monolith Treants in the Avalance Monolith area. It’s going to get difficult, teaming up with other players is essential to take the boss out.

After you eliminate the monolith, you will get the Tar Pudding Deviant right away.

What Does The Tar Pudding Deviant In Once Human Do?

    Deviant Type: Dormant
    PvP vs PvE: Neither (Passive)

    Passive Abilities:
