Sometimes, you might come across some choices to make while you are out exploring and picking up quests in Oblivion Remastered. Most of the time, you will get a different outcome to the quest, depending on what choice you make. During the Two Sides of the Coin quest, you will be tasked with either siding with Arnora or Jorundr, and depending on your choice, you will get a different reward. This guide will explain whether you should help Arnora or Jorundr in Oblivion Remastered.
How to Start the Two Sides of the Coin Quest in Oblivion Remastered

While exploring Bruma, you will come across rumors of two thieves called Arnora Auria and Jorundr. You will also learn Jorundr is in jail, so find and speak to Arnora to pick up this quest. Her house is right behind the chapel in Bruma, and you need to increase your disposition with her past 60 to get her to open up. She will tell you about some money that Jorundr has hidden away before being taken to jail, so she needs your help in finding out where the money is.
Head over to where Jorundr is to learn his POV, but he isn’t ready to open up to you yet. The only way to get him to talk is to end up in jail yourself. After that, he will explain how Arnora isn’t to be trusted, and he will reveal the location of the treasure chest only after bringing her amulet to him by killing her. Wait around the jail some more and you will end up seeing one of the prison guards, Tyrellius Logellus, is also interested in the whereabouts of the chest. You can get out of jail after this and think about which NPC you would like to help.
Help Arnora

You can speak to Arnora and tell her about what Jorundr has told you. To take revenge, she will ask you to trick him into thinking she is dead by handing over the key to the chest where the Red Amulet is. You can find the Red Amulet in her bedroom downstairs. After getting the amulet, head back to jail and show it toJorundr. He will reveal the location of the treasure chest, so head over there.
But, Tyrellius will beat you to the chest’s location, and if you hadn’t killed Arnora, he will kill her instead. Defeat him in battle to collect the loot. If you go back to Arnora’s corpse, you won’t find the Blue Amulet on her anymore. If you need the Blue Amulet, then you can agree to help her so she won’t turn hostile, then kill her outright to get the amulet.
Help Jorundr

All you need to do is kill Arnora, retrieve the key, take the Blue Amulet from her corpse and the Red Amulet from her bedroom chest before going back to Jorundr. If you killed her straight away without any initial conversation to start this quest, then you can start a unique Dark Brotherhood questline. Anyways, return to Jorundr and show him the amulets. He will tell you where the treasure is located, thus ending the quest. Tyrellius will not appear near the chest location this time.
Which Option to Pick?
In our opinion, we decided to help Arnora, since our main goal is to get whatever treasure is within Jorundr’s chest. The amulets seem to serve no purpose, unless you want to enchant or duplicate them. If you wish to add +1 Infamy, then go ahead and kill Arnora before you even speak to Jorundr for the first time. If you follow through with the whole quest, you will receive +1 Fame instead. The items inside the chest is randomized, and you can get some gold or books for your effort.
There are a lot more quests to pick up in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, and you can check out some of our other quest guides like the ones on The Ultimate Heist, Ahdarji’s Heirloom, and Bruma Recommendation to know more.
