Mandragora: How To Easily Defeat Queen Of Smiles

You can encounter tons of unique enemies and bosses as you unlock new areas in Mandragora. Some enemies can be a bit harder to find, as you need access to certain locations that would otherwise be inaccessible. If you are looking for the Queen of Smiles and collect the All Smiles Achievement, then you have come to the right place. This guide will cover how to locate and beat the Queen of Smiles in Mandragora.

The Queen of Smiles can be found inside the Lighthouse, just east of the Lakeshore waypoint. But you need to cross the Dreamfield without taking any damage, and this guide covers how to do just that. Once inside the Lighthouse, use Ground Slam on the floor to break it and gain access to the lower levels. Keep going down till you find the Queen of Smiles.

The Queen of Smiles will attack using her dual swords, and she will also release several swords in a circle. You can quickly dodge the swords thrown at you, then wait for the Queen to lunge at you with her swords. Roll around her and hit her while her back is turned away from you. Repeat this step a few times till eventually she will continue to stab in one location. You can roll around her again and deal some attacks, or run to the far side of the arena.

Most of her attacks are quite predictable, and her moveset will repeat several times. The two main attacks to keep in mind are:

    • The one to avoid: The swords will glow momentarily, and she will then send them across the area. The moment you see the glow, step away and keep a good distance between you and the boss
    • The one to attack: She will scream and make a (slow) lunge towards you. Dodge roll through the move, and you will get a chance to put in 2-3 swipes.

Weapons that inflict bleed, fire or poison are best, as they will whittle down the health even when you are avoiding her attacks.

Defeating her gets you Wool Cloth, Core of Entropy, and you can also activate the Torn Village of Smiles waypoint by heading east from the Queen of Smiles arena.
