Episode 7 of Dispatch carries some of the heaviest consequences seen in the game so far, and sets up things pretty nicely for the finale. Here, we also witness some grand revelations and betrayals by familiar faces. The episode also has consequences basis our past decisions. Here is our full walkthrough of Dispatch episode 7, with all missions, and choices.

    Episode 6 Recap

The last few moments of Episode 6 in Dispatch have all Z-team members celebrating a giant housewarming party. Then we learn where the actual Astral Pulse is. Here, we see Blazer recommending a cautious approach to retrieve the object, while Invisigal will be hellbent on retrieving quickly. Just like before, she will disobey the order and go on to retrieve the object for Robert. Shroud will then catch up to Invisigal, stealing the Astral Pulse. We then see Chase rushing to save Invisigal. He manages to save her, but falls on the ground.

Note: In this episode, you will make plenty of choices that revolve around pro-Invisigal or anti-Invisigal. These choices will play their part in the finale. We have noted the consequences of these choices to make it easier to spot the options.

    Flashback Scene with Chase

Even if you’re romancing Invisigal, the decision on this episode can alter the storyline of episode 8. So make sure to choose the one that fits your playstyle. Both trusting or abandoning Invisigal here has big-time consequences.

The episode begins with a flashback scene of Chase with Robert. In this scene, we see young Robert interacting with Chase, who is babysitting him. The playful interaction ends with Chase asking Robert what he wants from the store:

    • Twinkies
    • Beer
    • Cigar

I chose Cigar, which happened to be the lowest selection rate. You will unlock an achievement if you pick the lowest selected item. No matter what kind of item you use, Robert will always go for Twinkies. Chase will bring the Cigar, but he will also bring Twinkies, as he knows Robert can’t smoke.

Note: The choices for the item never stay consistent; if more people pick up Cigar, then Beer or Twinkies will become the least selected option.

    Seeing Chase in the Hospital

After the flashback scene is over, we find ourselves in the present time with Chase in the hospital and Robert sitting by his side. Here, Blonde Blazer will show up and mention the fondness Robert had with Chase in the past. Now you will make a choice:

    • He was like a brother.
    • I should’ve kept in touch
    • I was lost for a while

Pick the one that suits your character, as none of them share any consequences for the episode. The topic will then move to Invisigal, Blazer will ask Robert to cut off Invisigal from the team:

    • She really fu#$ up.
    • Might make things worse
    • I’ll get back to you

The choice will get remembered, suffice to say, if you choose the first one, you are going on an anti-Invisigal run. If you are in a relationship with Invisigal, then choose the second or third one to be on the safer side.

The next scene will be in the breakroom with Robert and Waterboy. Waterboy will be mad about the fact that Chase is in the hospital for something that could’ve easily been avoided. He will blame Invisigal for Chase’s current state. Waterboy will then ask Robert whether Chase did the right thing in saving her:

    • Yeah, I think he did.
    • I honestly don’t know
    • Absolutely not.

First decision leans on the pro-Invisigal side, while the third option lands on the anti-Invisigal side. The decision will be remembered by Waterboy. The scene will end with Waterboy throwing a chair at the vending machine in frustration.

All Dispatch Calls in Episode 7

Then we see Robert taking the Dispatch chair, ready to take the calls.

    • Beached Whales:
      • Perfect for anyone with Mobility and Vigor stats above 6 or higher.
    • Land Slip ‘n’ Slide:
      • Send in a hero with high Intellect, matched with a hero with Vigor and Charisma. You will get an XP boost if you meet the Charisma requirement of 6 or higher.
    • Up-Chuck:
      • Perfect heroes for this mission are: Golem, Punch Up, and Prism. You will get exclusive options for these characters. Another option would be someone with good Combat and Vigor.
    • Runaway Car:
      • It’s a long hacking scene, just remember the password – Left – Right – Right- Left to complete it quickly.
    • Self-Sabotage:
      • Focus on the hero with Charisma and Vigor. I chose Prism with Golem; another perfect choice would be Punch Up.
    • Farmers Market Attack:
      • Focus on Combat and Vigor, but make sure not to reach the Combat radius of 8, or it will be an instant failure.
    • Rescue Bone Zone:
      • Send in anyone with Vigor and Combat, make sure to cross the Combat threshold of 6 to receive the double XP boost.
    • Polarizing Interview:
      • Send in anyone with Charisma or Intellect. If you have Sonar on your team, then sending him will give you an exclusive option for this mission.
    • Hero Training:
      • Send any available heroes at your disposal.
    • Running Late:
      • Focus on the hero with high Mobility, and cross the Mobility threshold to receive a double XP bonus for completing the mission.
    • Red Ring:
      • Here we have two options: either Go All Out or Play It Safe. Both have their share of risks and rewards.
    • The Floodening:
      • A perfect choice for this mission would be Waterboy, as he will get an exclusive choice for the mission. Another alternative would be sending in someone with high Intellect and Mobility.
    • Fire In the Rain:
      • Send in anyone with Mobility and Vigor; you will get a double XP boost if you meet the Mobility threshold.

Letting go of Invisigal or Defending Her

After the shift ends, as Robert leaves the SDN HQ, Punch Up suddenly bursts out of the door of the meeting room. Here, Robert joins the rest of the Z-Team in the meeting room to learn what is happening inside, and you will get a choice:

    • What’s goin’ on?
    • Who’s paying for this?
    • Who threw him out of the door?

Choose the one that fits your role, as they carry no consequences. Golem will admit he threw the Punch Up through the door, and Punch Up will agree that he was right to do it. Here we find out the Z-Team is planning to cut off Invisigal from the team; most of them are for cutting Invisigal, and only some are against it. Golem and Flambae will be against the idea of letting Invisigal go, and the rest will be for the decision. Now we are going to make one of the important choices:

    • Cut Her
    • Defend Her

It is a major choice carrying deep consequences for the episode and ending of the game in the next episode. Check out our guide to learn about all the consequences this decision carries forward.

The scene will end with Beef in Robert’s hand sniffing, a sign that Invisigal was in the room. Robert will get to the changing room to meet up with Invisigal. Here, Invisigal will start questioning your decision of cutting her or defending her. The game will give you three options:

    • I care about you.
    • You gave me no choice
    • They decided, not me.

While it may feel like the decision carries some consequences, it doesn’t, so feel free to choose the one that plays more into the role. Then Invisigal will reveal a bombshell of planting a giant bomb on the Mechaman suit during the fight against Toxic before she joined SDN. This is a scene that plays out at the beginning of the first episode. After learning the truth, Robert will have to make a decision:

    • I don’t know what to feel
    • We’re done
    • I forgive you.

The third option (I forgive you) will put you on the road of the pro-Invisigal side, and the second option will be the anti-Invisigal choice. The scene will end instantly if you cut off any ties with Invisigal. But if you are romancing Invisigal instead of Blonde Blazer, then Robert will get a kiss from Invisigal, ending with an exclusive choice:

    • Lean In
    • Lean Out

The first option will build up a romantic point with Invisigal, and the second one will put you on the anti-Invisigal side.

Choosing between Track Star or Invisigal

In the next scene, we see Robert getting in the car to go to this home, and Blazer sending a message to reveal the real hero to the press who got injured in the Shroud incident in the last episode. This decision will play a role in the next choice, so it has consequences. Do check out our guide to learn about both choices and how to choose the correct one.

    Going Against Shroud

Dispatch Episode 7 Shroud Face Off

In the next scene, we see Robert in the bar, where the bartender uses some rough words about the hero who got injured. Robert, in anger, will break the glass. Here we are given a choice between:

    • Mind changing the subject?
    • Could you shut the f$%# up?
    • Get me another drink.

Choose the one that fits your role; none of them shares any consequences. The TV will show a press conference of Blonde Blazer announcing to the press the hero who got hurt. Then the bartender will make sexual remarks about Blonde Blazer. Here you can choose between:

    • GLASS HIM
    • LET IT GO

You can hit the glass against the bartender’s head, or if you do decide to let the remark go, the man on the other side of the bar will take out a gun and shoot down the bartender. Then we learn the old man sitting across from Robert spot is Shroud with the mask off. And immediately you will get hit on the head with either Coupe of Sonar.

Note: This decision comes from the firing choice at the end of episode 3. If you fired Coupe at the end of episode 3, then she will show up as a villain working for Shroud; the same goes for Sonar.

    Blonde Blazer Saving the Day

    Dispatch Episode 7 Blazer Entrance

The next scene involves Robert tied upside down and Shroud attacking him from all corners. He will ask Robert about the whereabouts of the Astral Pulse, and here Robert can answer with:

    • SPIT IN HIS FACE
    • I don’t have it
    • I’m going to kill you

The decision will be remembered, so make the decision wisely. Here we learn a new revelation of Invisigal stealing the Astral Pulse for herself without giving to Shroud or Robert. The scene ends with Blonde Blazer making an entrance to save Robert. Shroud and his minions will slowly back away after Blonde Blazer threatens to take out most of them before dying. Now you will need to make a decision between:

    • Thanks for saving me.
    • There’s no backup, is there?
    • Can’t believe you found me.

None of the choices carries consequences, so pick the one that fits the best. Then Blazer will take Robert from the bar to the familiar billboard where she hired Robert to the SDN for the first time in episode 1. The conversation will then shift towards the trust Robert has for Invisigal.

Here you will need to make a choice between:

    • She’s planning something
    • Who cares?
    • I trust her

The decision will be remembered by Blonde Blazer, so pick the one that fits your role. After the peaceful scene, an explosion will be heard at a distance. Soon, Blazer and Robert will find themselves surrounded by nothing but explosions caused by either Sonar or Coupe.
