Vault Hunters looking for Legendary loot and other top-tier gear, XP, and cash beyond the Borderlands 4 campaign can find them during Weekly Wildcard missions. These missions reset weekly, and each new quest offers Legendary loot, XP, Eridium, and more. This week’s Wildcard mission has introduced Mob Rules, which requires you to deliver a package to The Boss. Here’s how you can easily complete the Mob Rules Weekly Wildcard mission in Borderlands 4.
Take the Cash and Reach Meetup Spot
As instructed by The Boss, the first thing you’ll do for the Mob Rule Wildcard Mission in Borderlands 4 is pick up the cash from The Pit and locate the meetup spot. After accepting the quest, you’ll spawn inside The Pit, where you’ll find the cash briefcase on one of the tables. Then, your next objective is to reach the meetup spot where the exchange will go down.
The meetup spot is located at the Sainted Cup, as shown in the image above. Fast travel to a nearby location to reach the spot quickly. Once you’re there, you’ll face a bunch of enemies trying to bring you down and take the cash from you. Defeating all of them will mark this objective as complete, which will unlock the next one.
Signal The Boss’ Contact and Place the Cash
Next, you need to signal The Boss’ contact after defeating all the enemies by solving a puzzle involving bells in Borderlands 4. There will be three towers in the area, with three bells, each having different colored rings: blue (left), golden (middle), and purple (right). You have to shoot the bells to light up the signal that’s above the tower in the middle, which is larger than the other two on the left and right. Here’s what you need to do to solve it.
- Shoot the gold-ringed bell with the star symbol on the tower located to your left.
- Then, shoot the blue-ringed bell with the star symbol on the large tower located at the center of Sainted Cup.
- Lastly, shoot the purple-ringed bell on the tower located to your right.
This will light up the signal that’s on the tower at the center of Sainted Cup. Once it’s lit up, The Boss will instruct you to place the cash on the table located by the stairs that lead to the tower with the signal.
Kill Messaging Micki and the Rippers
For the next Mob Rules objective in Borderlands 4, you need to kill Messaging Micki, The Boss’ contact, along with the hordes of rippers that spawn in the area. After placing the cash, you need to interact with Messaging Micki, who will ask you to give her ten times more than what The Boss promised in exchange for the package, which will lead to a fallout.
After your conversation with her, you must eliminate her and the group of rippers that spawn around the area. After this, The Boss will call you and instruct you to take the unopened package from Messaging Micki to his secret hideout, which features a device that can crack it open.
Digistruct the Package and Reach The Boss’ Hideout
Next, you need to interact with the package, then digistruct it and take it to The Boss’ hideout in Borderlands 4. The Boss’ hideout is located at the Stoneblood Forest, and the route to reach there is shown in the image above. Head right from the Sainted Cup, using fast travel or a traversal vehicle to reach the hideout, where you’ll be greeted with an unexpected welcome.
The place will be crawling with manglers, so you need to take care of them before you proceed with the Mob Rules Wildcard Mission. After dealing with the pest problem, open the door that leads to the hideout’s interior. Head inside the area, and look around for the area where you can keep the package. It will be at the center of the platform as soon as you’re inside the hideout.
Crack the Package and Obtain the Cracked Tech
After placing the package at the center of the platform near the entrance to The Boss’ hideout in Borderlands 4, you need to use the device on the right to start the cracking process. It’s not a conventional package that will open right away, so you need to place it in the required location, then enable the cracking device to do its job.
The box will start rotating, and after a few seconds, you’ll obtain a cracked tech that you need to return to The Boss. If you can’t find where to place the package inside the hideout, look for the green box-shaped indicator at the middle of the platform.
Return to The Boss and Deliver the Package
After cracking open the package and obtaining the cracked tech in Borderlands 4, head back to The Pit, where The Boss is located, and deliver him the package. Exit The Boss’ hideout, and head straight to the Low Leys, where you’ll find The Pit. Inside the Pit, you can find The Boss in one of the rooms, as shown by the in-game waypoint system.
Return the package to The Boss, which will complete the Mob Rules Wildcard Mission in Borderlands 4. For your troubles, you’ll receive a Legendary Linonized Birt’s Bees Vladof Submachine Gun, some XP and in-game currency.
