The new Shattered Veil map brings in tons of new secrets and Easter Eggs that you can uncover in every corner. You can also collect some new weapons the further into the map you explore. There is a legendary Tier 2 PAP weapon available for free, but you need to defeat rounds and rounds of tough enemies before you can get it. This guide will explain how to get the free Tier 2 Legendary weapon in Black Ops 6.

The Marine SP Shotgun is the only weapon available right now that can be converted to a free Tier 2 PAP Legendary weapon that comes with an Ammo mod. To get this gun upgraded for free, just follow the steps below.

    • First, you need to spawn in with the Marine SP Shotgun or purchase it from the Wall Buy at the Motor Court.
    • You need to enhance it to Blue rarity or higher.
    • Your next task is to purchase the Death Perception Perk-A-Cola from the West Hallways inside the mansion to make it easier to detect enemies for what is to come.
    • Now, head over to the Banquet Hall and check out the wall near the main entrance. You will spot three deer heads mounted on the wall.
    • You will also spot a gun rack below the three deer heads. Place the Marine SP into the slot, then watch one of the deer heads that has glowing eyes.

    • The glowing eyes correspond to a Field Upgrade; for example, the deer having red eyes means you should switch your current field upgrade to Frenzied Guard.
    • You can also shoot the deer heads one by one, and one of them will release the Field Upgrade symbol that matches the eye color, giving you a clear hint on what upgrade you need to switch to.
    • Once you have that field upgrade equipped and active, defeat the wave of zombies infiltrating the base.
    • You don’t need to use the Field Upgrade if you don’t want to, you just need to activate it while killing the enemies.
    • Once you keep killing zombies, you will notice that all three deer heads will start glowing.
    • If you have placed a Blue rarity weapon, it will be upgraded to Purple once that happens.
    • Pick the gun off the rack and put it back in to start the next stage, which is to upgrade it from Purple rarity to Orange or Legendary.

    • Repeat the steps above with figuring out the Field Upgrade and defeating all the zombies till you get your legendary weapon upgrade.
    • You can further get your weapon up to Tier 1 Legendary if you continue to follow the steps above.
    • But it may seem like this is the end of the road, as the game soft locks you out of upgrading this weapon further.
    • There is a way around this, just save and quit your game, then load back in and place your Tier 1 Legendary weapon into the same weapon rack under the deer heads.
    • Repeat the rest of the steps above one last time to get the final Tier 2 upgrade for free.
