The Floral Breeze achievement in Blue Protocol: Star Resonance requires you to harvest 10 Black Flowers. These flowers aren’t available to harvest from the get-go; you need to follow a particular process to get these flowers. This guide will detail how to exactly go about doing that.
How to Get Black Flowers in Blue Protocol: Star Resonance
You can attain Black Flowers randomly after harvesting and replanting purple rarity flowers. The real challenge is obtaining these purple flowers and pollinating them to get Black Flowers instead of other colors. First, level up your Homestead to Level 2 to unlock more fields for planting. Then, speak to Delphine at your Homestead to buy seeds.
For now, Tulip seeds are enough to plant in your fields. As you increase your Homestead level, you can switch to higher tier plants. Do not buy seeds in bulk. Only purchase seeds according to the number of plots you own. This helps prevent confusion between seeds harvested from crops and new seeds bought.
Basic Field Setup

Focus on getting the field formation into a + sign and create two of them. Keep a one or two tile gap between the two fields so they don’t cross pollinate. The central plot within each field will be your main attraction, with two plots at the top and bottom and two plots on either side. Plant your seed within the central plot and wait for it to grow.
Obtaining Purple Rarity Plants

If you get a green rarity plant, destroy the seed by recycling the plot it was planted on. Use the Build menu, select the plot to recycle, and destroy it along with any crops on it. Replant the plot and place a fresh batch of seeds to start over.
If, during your next harvest, you get blue plants, then harvest them and replant them. Do it in the same plot using the seeds obtained during the harvest and not fresh seeds. During your next replant, the chances of getting purple plants is 50/50, where you could either get purple, blue, or green rarity.
If you are lucky and have obtained Purple tier plants, harvest them and replant them. Then, head into the Build menu and move that particular plot aside to help the plant grow to full term. Replace the plot back into the center of the field once it’s grown, then plant new seeds in the nearby plots surrounding the adult plant. This will cross-pollinate the genes of the parent plant to the offspring, helping you increase your chances of obtaining purple plants.
Getting Black Flowers
You need to repeat the steps above with the Purple Flowers till you randomly get a Black Flower. If you are lucky from the start and obtained at least one plot of Black Flowers, do not harvest them. Rather, switch it out with the central plot and make the Black Flower the center. Replant your seeds in the surrounding plots and wait for nature to take its course. In due time, you would get all Black Flowers within the field, which completes your achievement objective.
If you haven’t had any luck even after 5 or more generations of replanting, then the chances of obtaining Black Flowers is slim. You could cross check with both your fields to see the progress, or switch out the two central purple flower plots with each other. That way, through cross germination, you could get a Black Flower. If all else fails, then you may need to redo your entire field and start from scratch.
Identifying Plants

In case you have missed the notification while harvesting a plant, press the J key to bring up your advanced chat. Always look at the type of plant rarity and not seed rarity. While looking at the crops visually, you need to keep an eye out for blue or purple hues plants, as these will bring you one step closer to obtaining Black Flowers.
