An Extra Large Gogoat Quest Guide – Legends ZA

Once you start unlocking all side missions, you will get some unique quest objectives while playing Pokémon Legends Z-A. One such side quest involves getting an Alpha Gogoat for a particular NPC. Since Alpha Gogoat spawns are quite rare in the wild, you need to go through some steps to get it.

Visit Lugo at Magenta Sector 8 to get the Extra Large Gogoat side quest. He is found near North Boulevard. If you can’t unlock this side quest yet, then you need to complete Main Mission 20 first. After visiting the Rust Syndicate Office during the mission, return to Hotel A-Z to get all side quests unlocked, including this one.

The extra-large Gogoat is technically an Alpha Gogoat, and there are two ways to get it: either by evolving an Alpha Skiddo or by checking for a wild Alpha Gogoat spawn. To find an Alpha Skiddo, you need to register all the Pokémon within Wild Zone 3 first. Then, wait for the Alpha Skiddo to spawn randomly, capture it, and evolve it at level 32. If you don’t have any luck finding an Alpha Skiddo, leave the area and teleport back in to reset all the Pokémon in the area.

As for finding the Alpha Gogoat spawn, this one is a bit harder to do. You need to visit Wild Zone 12 to find it in the wild. Since this is a late-game area, you won’t get here right away. Also, you will require some high-level Pokémon to help you hunt down the Alpha Gogoat. If you don’t spot the Alpha Gogoat spawn here the first time, you need to leave the area and warp back into the park to reset all the Pokémon.

Whichever method you pick, return to Lugo at Magenta Sector 8 and hand over the Alpha Gogoat to complete the quest. You will get the following rewards:

    • ₽8,000
    • Carbos x10
