Each vendor in ARC Raiders offers several quests to complete. As you work through them, you get to unlock unique rewards, provided you understand the assignment. Sometimes, you need to do a lot of exploration to find what you are looking for, as some of the quest objectives can be confusing. Such is the case with the Root of the Matter quest, and this guide will explain the steps to complete the quest below.
How to Complete the Root of the Matter Quest in ARC Raiders
Speak to Celeste to get the Root of the Matter quest from her. The quest has two main objectives, but you need to complete them in a single round. If you die or exfil after completing just one or none of the objectives, then this quest will stay active till you complete both objectives. Let’s take a look at the quest objectives and how to do them below.
Go to the Research Building
The Research Building in question is located in Buried City. The building is right in the center of the zone, right beside the Space Travel building. Enter the building from the south to strike this objective off your list.
Search For The Seed Vault In The “Room With A Great View”
Go through the passage and keep an eye out for a lab on your left. The room should have a large window, offering a great view of the outside world. Once you find this room, take a look around for the seed vault. It is usually located on the left side of the room’s entrance. After finding it, interact with it to Secure Seeds, then exfil out of there.
Return to Celeste to complete the quest, and she will hand over the following rewards:
- 1 x Vita Spray
- 16,000XP
