Now that the Blue Gate map has been unlocked in ARC Raiders, there are more exploration points to be found. In addition, you get to complete new quests, one of which is the First Foothold quest. There are four main objectives to this quest, and this guide will detail how to complete them all in ARC Raiders.
How to Complete A First Foothold Quest in ARC Raiders
Speak to Apollo to obtain the First Foothold quest. If this quest is not available, ensure that you have completed all his prior quests to unlock this one. This quest takes place on the Blue Gate map. There are four objectives to be cleared, which we will detail below.
Nail Down The Roof Plates On The Raider Structure Near Trapper’s Glade
Make your way to Trapper’s Glade, below the Raider’s Refuge POI. Travel a bit south under the S from the Trapper’s Glade lettering on the map to reach the trailhead. While going down the hill, look out for a broken structure with a red flag on top. Get on top of the structure’s roof and walk around until you get the Nail Down Roof pop-up. Press E to interact with it and complete your objective.
Stabilize The Observation Deck Near The Ridgeline
For this one, make your way to the far east section of the map, towards the Ridgeline POI. Stand directly on the letter E of Ridgeline lettering. Look around for a small wooden stage and walk up to it. You will receive a Stabilize Deck pop-up. Interact with it to fix the deck and check it off your list.
Enable The Comms Terminal Near The Olive Grove
Head southwest of the map to find The Olive Grove, then continue a little west for the quest objective. Look around for a wooden platform with a few broken computers. Interact with the yellow terminal to complete this objective.
Rotate The Satellite Dishes On The Church Roof, North Of The Data Vault
As the quest objective states, head north of the map to find the Data Vault, then travel further north to find a large church. You will also see a red flag on the church’s roof. Get up on the roof and make your way close to the flag to find the satellite dish and rotate it to the correct position.
Once you are done with all four objectives, make your way back to Apollo to complete the quest and receive the following rewards.
- 3x Shrapnel Grenade
- 3x Snap Blast Grenade
- 3x Heavy Fuze Grenade
