Life Fruit in Beast of Reincarnation is a special item that the game doesn’t tell you much about, especially when it comes to what it is and how you can use it. However, it’s an incredibly useful item that you’ll need to craft certain game-changing items for Koo.
Finding it can prove to be a challenge, though, as it’s a rare item and can only be obtained from specific sources. However, there’s no reason for you to worry in the slightest, as I’ve done the hard work for you. Let’s take a look at how you’re supposed to use Life Fruit in this post-apocalyptic world and where you can get your hands on it easily.
What does Life Fruit do in Beast of Reincarnation?
Life Fruit is an ingredient required to craft Resurrection Censer and Life Censer in Beast of Reincarnation for Koo. How are these items game-changing?
When it comes to Resurrection Censer, it can automatically revive Emma upon her death. Basically, it’s a get-out-of-jail-free card that is automatically triggered if you’ve been cornered by your enemies. Pairing this with the Resurrection Incense skill is beneficial, as you’ll be able to revive Emma twice.
This was particularly useful for me, as it allowed me to take more risks and experiment with different strategies when going against bosses. Keep in mind you’ll need the Resurrection Censer manual before you can craft the item. This can be easily obtained from the Wandering Merchant in the Matsukawa Zone for 6,500 Amber.
The Life Censer, on the other hand, gives Emma an HP boost, but on a temporary basis. Whatever additional HP that you’ve gained will be added on top of the max HP you currently have. This item can give you a much bigger safety net during some of the most challenging encounters in the game. That extra HP means you can survive attacks that would otherwise wipe the floor.
Of course, you’ll need a Life Censer manual before you can craft it. You can purchase it by visiting the Wandering Merchant in Pilgrim’s Zone for 5,850 Amber. How to get more Life Fruit in Beast of Reincarnation?
Now that you know how to make use of Life Fruit, it’s also crucial to know how you can get it. Finding this special item in Beast of Reincarnation is no joke, and after playing the game for hundreds of hours, I’ve found two reliable methods to obtain it: Cleanse Walker and Dragon Vein Shrine.
The Cleanse Walker is basically Emma’s home. It comes with various features such as a workbench where you can upgrade weapons, acquire new Skills, communicate with your allies, cook meals, and much more. One of the most useful features, however, is the Grow Chamber. Check out our guide on how you can upgrade your Cleanse Walker to get more out of it.
Grow Chamber is where you can plant seeds and collect plants after they’ve grown. As you’re exploring the massive open world of Beast of Reincarnation, you’ll come across Life Fruit seeds from time to time. Whenever you get your hands on them, head back to your Cleanser Walker and plant it in the Grow Chamber to obtain Life Fruit. Keep in mind, this process can take a while as the item has a long cultivation time.
In my experience, the most reliable way to get Life Fruit in Beast of Reincarnation is through Dragon Vein Shrines. There are a total of 40 of these shrines scattered throughout different zones of the game. The main benefit of interacting with them is the stimpack upgrades, which allow you to recover more health.
However, I’ve found that they also reward you with x3 Life Fruit every time you find a new one. They have the appearance of a large shrine with a glowing plant in front of them, which makes them easy to spot as you’re traveling around. If you’re having trouble finding one, you can also wait for Koo to spot one for you.
