The Cleanse Walker is the walking mobile home of Emma and Koo in Beast of Reincarnation. It’s also where Kagura rests and cooks for the pair of adventurers when they return from a hard day fighting the Blight. It serves as a walking fortress for the team, keeping them safe while they travel, but it’s also much more than that. You can upgrade the Cleanse Walker in Beast of Reincarnation to make it more of a powerhouse.

In fact, leveling up the Cleanse Walker is vital for survival in the game, as it will help keep you safe as you progress through the adventure. Here’s how to upgrade the Cleanse Walker in Beast of Reincarnation and everything you’ll need to do it.

How to level up the Cleanse Walker

To upgrade the Cleanse Walker in Beast of Reincarnation, you’ll need to make it level up in three different key areas. This is something you’ll be doing way into endgame, so don’t worry about fully upgrading it; just work towards it steadily.

To level up the Cleanse Walker, you’ll need to find certain items that upgrade the walker’s Power, Calculations, and Knowledge. The table below will explain what each item is, how it’s color-coded, and what it upgrades:

    ComponentColorUpgrade TypePurpose
Generator DeviceBluePowerIncreases your Cleanse Walker’s Power stat.
Electronic BrainOrange/YellowCalculationsImproves your Cleanse Walker’s Calculations stat.
Memory ChipGreenKnowledgeBoosts your Cleanse Walker’s Knowledge stat.

You can farm more Generator Devices, Electronic Brains, and Memory Chips simply by exploring the open world, killing enemies and progressing in the story. Always make a point of inspecting the dead Golems you come across in the wilderness, as these often have one of the 3 components on them, making this a reliable way to upgrade the Cleanse Walker regularly.

Strong boxes are also filled with helpful components for the Cleanse Walker, so always take note of where one is and unlock them as soon as you have the opportunity. These are all over the map and are always worth investigating.

Finally, when it comes to leveling up the Cleanse Walker, this isn’t something you need to actively do. Instead, once you arrive back at base, these components will be taken from your inventory and automatically applied to the Walker, upgrading it in that moment. After all, you already did the hard work in hunting the parts down.

You will eventually be able to get Life Fruit from the Grow Chamber, which is used to craft Resurrection Censer and Life Censer – both pretty useful when tackling the more difficult bosses in the game.

Unhappy with your build? Here’s how to respec your stats so you can begin again.
