We finally have a new addition to the Reflectrial boss lineup in Limbus Company, the final boss of the new Mnestic Experience Intervallo, Im Gyeong-oep. Or at least, how Bamboo Hatted Kim remembers her.
While Im Gyeong-eop is quite a bit easier than our last two opponents, you’ll need a plan if you want to blitz through the encounter in as few turns as possible. The faster you clear the fight, the more rewards you’ll earn, culminating in our first non-ID-based Facade, an alternate Bamboo Hatted Kim for Meursault.

Reflectrial – Mnestic Experience Effects
Let’s start with the consistent effects Reflectrial place on the battle. These effects, known as Shade of Reflection [Bearhunt] and Shade of Reflection [Tigerhunt], are split between Im Gyeong-eop’s two phases.
Phase 1 – Flash Phenomenon

During the first phase of the battle, you’ll be going up against the Flash Phenomenon Abnormality version of Im Gyeong-eop, juggling her adds and aiming to pop her shield as fast as possible to get damage on the board for Phase 2.
During this Phase, Shade of Reflection [Bearhunt] grants the Sinners a 25% damage boost to Wrath Skills and Skills that inflict Burn. This includes any form of Unique Burn, like Magic Bullet Outis’s Dark Flame. Additionally, Tremor Bursts will deal Wrath damage against Im Gyeong-eop’s shield, rather than increasing her Stagger Threshold.
Whenever you deal Wrath damage via Tremor Burst or deal Burn damage, Im Gyeong-eop’s shield takes 50% extra damage. Finally, Bearhunt grants 1 random EGO resource from amongst your least owned when chaining Sin Resonance, as well as 1 EGO resource of the Sin used for Resonance.
These compounding effects make both Burn and Tremor comps tempting choices, as well as any Identities that have powerful Wrath bombs. Careful team building is required to keep up with the Phase’s unique gimmick, Memory Transition.
Im Gyeong-eop starts the battle with three stacks of Memory Transition and loses one at the end of each turn. Once she reaches 0, a camera will flash, and Im Gyeong-eop will retreat. In her place is the Projector of the Flash Phenomenon itself, with each of her adds replaced by an N Corp staff member with matching HP.
The Projector will also gain three stacks of Memory Transition, aiming to waste your turns. You can force Im Gyeong-eop out of hiding by reducing the Projector’s HP to 1. As soon as it has, the Projector will swap back with Im Gyeong-eop, allowing you to continue the battle.
Every three turns Im Gyeong-eop will alternate between her two stances, Bearhunt and Tigerhunt. Bearhunt focuses on single coin Skills while Tigerhunt relies on multi-coin Skills.
Both stances interact differently with her unique effect, Swordplay of the Homeland [Sal]. While Bearhunt wants to stack it as high as possible for big Base Power, Tigerhunt wants to drain it for more Coin Power.
To keep Im Gyeong-eop vulnerable, you’ll need to consistently interact with two of her Skills, “Reassume Stance” and “Swordhoning”. “Reassume Stance” can be Clashed with to lower her Swordplay of the Homeland [Sal] stacks, while Clashing “Swordhoning” raises her stacks.
During many turns, she’ll toss out both, so make sure to read carefully and acknowledge what her will actually weaken her based on her stance. Once you drop her shield, you’re given a turn to beat on her before she transitions to phase 2, carrying over any damage you’ve dealt. Let’s take a look at our best build for phase 1 first.
Best Reflectrial Im Gyeong-eop Builds Phase 1

For phase 1 of the battle, we’ll want to gather as much Burn and Tremor as we can. Luckily, there are a couple of units that specialize in that exact combination! Our two powerhouses for this Phase will be the Thumb East Capo IIII Meursault and the Thumb East Soldato II Sinclair.
Both of the Thumb Identities we have access to specialize in Tremor Scorch, a unique form of Tremor that deals Wrath damage and is enhanced by the enemy’s Burn Potency. These Tremor Scorch bombs, as well as their liberal application of both Tremor and Burn individually, make them perfect keystones of the team.
A week after the Reflectrial’s launch, we’ll be getting two more Thumb Identities in the form of Thumb Nursefather Rodion and Thumb Apprentice Heathcliff, both of which seem perfectly built for this encounter.
Back to the present, the Magic Bullet Identity on Outis is a great pick, as her already sizable Dark Flame damage is enhanced by the phase’s buff. This can lead to Dark Flame pops of over 450 damage PER TURN, a massive speed boost if you can Outis fueled.
Alongside them, our point team has Firefist Gregor for his superior Burn application, Arbor Blossom Faust for her damage and fantastic Utility EGOs, and Liu Rodion for her decent Clashing and access to Indicant’s Trial. Heishou Heathcliff rounds us out for good sustain and great damage.
If you got it from last Walpurgisnacht, Sinclair’s Harmony EGO is a stellar addition to his Thumb ID both for the great AOE damage and teamwide damage buff it applies in Harmony. The bonus SP doesn’t hurt either!
Alternatively, if you have the House of Spiders built, spending the first three turns rushing Ryoshu’s scaling while backing her with Liu Rodion, Thumb Meursault/Sinclair, Firefist Gregor, and Heishou Heathcliff can be SHOCKINGlY effective. A bit of an expensive team, but a damn effective one.

After all, ALL of BoHoS Ryoshu‘s skills have Burn, so she’s massively buffed by the effect. Build up to Great Trilioclasm, and Im Gyeong-eop won’t stand a chance.
Phase 2 – Imagined Im Gyeong-eop

For phase 2 of the battle, we take on Im Gyeong-eop in a form more akin to her true self. Despite this, the battle plays largely the same, only amplifying a different team. From here on, you’ll want to run a Poise lineup, in particular, the Blade Lineage.
The Shade of Reflection [Tigerhunt] buff is active from phase 2 onwards, buffing Pride Skills and Skills that apply, gain, or consume Poise to deal +25% damage. This buff is increased to 100% for EGO, and since so many Poise EGOs are big damage sources, you can get crazy numbers.
Poise Skills also grant extra Poise during this phase, and Blade Lineage identities have their first Stagger Threshold removed, gain Final Power +2, and deal 30% extra damage while taking 15% less. TLDR: it’s time for a Blade Lineage upscale.
The battle itself is, as stated, alike phase 1, with a few new wrenches thrown in. While a factor in phase 1, Im Gyeong-eop’s Bow attack hits much harder, and both stances have access to very powerful attacks she’ll break out after using her Bow, or when she first reaches 60% HP.
She also uses these big attacks when she reaches minimum or maximum stacks of Swordplay of the Homeland [Sal], requiring a bit more planning when you’re manipulating her buff. Otherwise, simply keep up the pressure and remember to alter her buff based on her current stance.
Best Reflectrial Im Gyeong-eop Build Phase 2

For phase 2, it’s time to break out the Blade Lineage. If you have all 6, you’re very well off. If like me you’re missing a few, slot in who you have and fill in the open slots with your strongest Poise indetities.
The Full Stop duo of Hong Lu and Heathcliff are great picks, so long as you can keep Im Gyeong-eop’s attention off of them. Both are squishy, but make up for that weakness with great damage.
No matter your lineup, using Yi Sang’s Fell Bullet EGO can net wild damage numbers, as long as you’re willing to pay the price he’ll ask of you. Meursault’s new Shadow-vested Bladesinger EGO is a phenomenal buff to the units you’ll already want to be running, as long as you’ve got the Blade Lineage Mentor Identity to run alongside it.

Should all else fail, slotting in BoHoS Ryoshu in the back to benefit off of all the deaths is a great call. All of her Skill grant her Poise, making an already strong ID even stronger. If you’re low on Blade Lineage members, consider swapping them out for House of Spiders IDs and fueling Ryoshu instead!
Funnily enough, a House of Spiders lineup set to empower Ryoshu works decently on either fight, so consider them if you’re low on previously mentioned IDs that might be more optimal.
