Terraria has always had knockoff Nintendo items in it, so a collaboration with Palworld in Terraria’s 1.4.5 Bigger and Boulder update just makes sense. This Palworld crossover adds a few summons and one of the best mounts in the game, bar none.
The only downside of this is that all of these Pals are rather rare, and if you try to play the game normally, chances are you won’t find them at all. All of them are available before fighting a boss, but you should consider having decent gear before attempting to obtain them.
I’ll be covering all the items this Palworld Crossover has to offer, and giving you a few quick tips on how to make obtaining them much easier.
Pal Metal Set

Before we get into all the Pals, the Palworld Crossover does add a vanity set, which you can nab rather easily from the Traveling Merchant. He only sells them when you currently have a Pal in your inventory, so get one of them and go find him.
Cattiva/Foxparks

Simultaneously, the easiest and hardest Pals to find, Cattiva and Foxparks, have the same spawn condition, with Cattiva being a little more common. They both spawn on the outer fourths of the world on Grass blocks, but not in a Graveyard biome.
Cattiva is a pretty low damage summon that isn’t useful for combat, but is a great help when mining. Foxparks, on the other hand, does massive damage for a pre-boss summon and doubles as a flamethrower for the Summoner class.
To farm for these just a bit faster, head to either edge of your world and make a long, flat platform of Dirt Blocks, and plant Grass Seeds on it. You can make multiple layers, but either way, build until the platform is just out of sight, and wait for a meow or a yip.
This process is significantly faster with a Battle Potion and/or Water Candle, but it should work out eventually if you’re patient. With some time and luck, you’ll hear a noise and see that either Foxparks or Cattavia has spawned to your left or right, and you need to save them from Goblins.
Digtoise

One of the most useful items from the Palworld Crossover, regardless of class, Digtoise is a turtle that will mine a three-block-wide tunnel, horizontally or vertically, even while off-screen. Of course, it’s not very fast, but you get to have it running while you do whatever you want.
It only spawns in the Underground Desert, and can usually be found pretty quickly, as that’s not a huge biome to survey. It can also occasionally replace any Antlion Larvae while it’s regrowing, so if you can’t find it, break every egg you can find and come back later.
Chillet/Chillet Ignis

The Chillet mounts are both spawned from the Huge Dragon Egg you can find underground, and they’re the crown jewel of the Palworld Crossover. They give you a dash, a 10% damage boost to all weapons, and can be an incredible boon in the early game.
That said, the only spawn condition they have is that they will spawn in the cavern layer. This means you could find it in the first cave you enter, or you could dig through 99% of your entire underground, and never end up finding the egg.
You can make the search slightly more tolerable by downing a Spelunker potion, as it will be highlighted by that and the Metal Detector, dropped by Nymphs. You should also kill Miner Skeletons to get mining armor, and hopefully a Bone Pickaxe and Ancient Chisel.
I went with the scorched earth method of making vertical tunnels every ~150 blocks, until I eventually found the egg. Once you do, you open it like a crate, and it has a 50/50 chance of giving you either Chillet or Chillet Ignis, which are identical aside from their colors.
