Heartopia: Complete Winter Frost Event Guide

As of January 24, the Winter Frost event has started in Heartopia. Or rather, the prep phase of the event has started. This means that you have a week of daily quests to complete before the full event begins, and you can earn exclusive rewards for participating.

I know it might be difficult for players with busy schedules, but throughout the event, I recommend taking the time each day to log on and complete the daily task to avoid falling behind and losing out on rewards.

    Winter Frost Prep Phase

The prep phase lasts until January 31. If you’ve completed the main quest “The Answer Lies Within” and reached D.G. Level 7, then you’ll receive the quest to begin the event when you log in, which comes in the form of a phone call from Atara.

From here, you’ll go to Town Hall, fail to find the mentioned papers, then go speak to Bailey J and learn that Annie beat you to delivering the papers. Next, Annie gives you the start of the daily tasks, which means you’ll go speak with Vanya to complete the first day’s task.

There’s only one task each day, and you can check your tasks by going into your watch and selecting the new Winter Prep option, which is the first icon on your screen in the top left. The tasks seem to be similar to the daily requests you have for leveling your D.G. Membership, so it’s a good idea to collect items ahead of time to get through them faster.

As an example, Vanya needs you to give him three fish. If this is what the tasks will be like, then it’s likely you’ll want to stock up on simple materials, such as crops, stones, ore, timber, and so on.

After you get the first three stamps for the Cold Weather Alert Broadcast, you’ll now be able to move onto the Resident Feedback Collection. For this section, you need to get nine stamps from other players or NPCs in your penguin letter.

The penguin letter will be in your inventory. You’ll hold it, and other players can stamp it for 30 Energy. You can also get stamps from NPCs, but only NPCs with the little orange clipboards on their icons on the map. NPCs will ask you to collect something to give them before they stamp the letter, such as fertilizer or fish.

Once you have the stamps, take the penguin letter to Eric in Onsen to complete this section of the prep phase.

    Winter Frost Part 2

Part 2 of the Winter Frost event is not yet available, but there’s not a lot of information available about the future sections of the event right now. The official X (formerly Twitter) post describes the second part as speaking with residents to see if there’s a way to handle the cold protection issue.

Based on that, it’s likely that you’ll have to do some back-and-forth talking to residents, and I’m sure that’s going to include collecting items that might be part of their proposed solutions. On the bright side, one of the rewards for this section is the Silent Egg Grabbing Machine.

    Winter Frost Part 3

Part 3 of the Winter Frost event is the Frame the Winter section you can find in the Event tab. This part involves doing face-to-face interactions in-game with a friend each day to accumulate rewards. This part of the event is available until March, so you have plenty of time to grab the available poses that are the rewards for it.

That covers what we know for sure so far, but as the event progresses, there’s likely to be more information to report on in order to make sure you’re able to get as many rewards as possible from this Heartopia event.
