There are a lot of contract missions to pick up while playing Dune: Awakening, and completing them is a quick way to get rewards. Some contracts will send you off to do some exploration to find exclusive items to complete the quest. One such contract you will receive is the Wrecking Crew quest, where you need to locate a certain item and bring it back. This guide will explain how to complete the Wrecking Crew quest in Dune Awakening.
How to Complete the Wrecking Crew Quest in Dune Awakening
You unlock the Wrecking Crew quest after completing the ‘Copper Required’ contract. This entire questline is part of the Scrap Mettle line of quests, so you have to complete them all to unlock the next quest on the list. Once you are done with the previous quest, head over to Hagga Basin South and visit the Contract Board in Griffin’s Reach Tradepost.Â
Over here, you can find a new contract – Scrap Mettle: Wrecking Crew. Picking it up will give you the location where you need to find the shipwreck to collect spare parts. Luckily, you don’t have to go too far, just proceed south of your location to find the Alcyon shipwreck. Jump inside through the hole on the roof and jump further down till you reach the bottom of the ship.Â
You need to find and retrieve a Holtzman Amplifier, which is hidden around one of the chests within the shipwreck. The container you need to check is located to the northwest.
Holtzman Amplifier Location
After jumping down, head up the stairs leading northwest and you will spot an open doorway. At the back of this room, towards the northeast, is where you can pick up the Holtzman Amplifier inside a container. You can explore the rest of the shipwreck to collect rare items like Mechanical Parts and Plasteel Microflora Fibers. Once you are done, return to Griffin’s Reach Tradepost and interact with the Contract Board.
Select the current contract, then press the button to Deliver Items. Drag and drop the Holtzman Amplifier from your backpack into the delivery slot to complete the contract. As your reward, you will get the following.
