Sometimes I find myself getting so caught up in the main story of Where Winds Meet that I completely overlook the smaller, hidden quests scattered throughout the regions. That’s exactly what happened during my stay in Harvestfall Village.
What was supposed to be a casual visit to this quaint town ended up being much more. Some of the villagers I spoke to required some sort of favor from me. Of course, they were more than willing to reward me for my troubles, so I decided to take on these quests headfirst.
I soon found myself eavesdropping on conversations, checking locked doors, and poking around places I probably shouldn’t be at. Eventually, I managed to put together bits and pieces of some of the clues I had gathered to complete the hidden quests that I would have easily missed otherwise.
After carefully scouring every corner of Harvestfall Village, retracing my steps, and verifying each quest trigger, I can confidently say I uncovered all 5 Wandering Tales hidden here. This guide will walk you through every one of them step by step so you too can easily complete them all in Where Winds Meet.
All Harvestfall Village Wandering Tales Location in Where Winds Meet
While Qinghe does offer a plethora of Wandering Tales, Harvestfall Village is home to 5 of them.
The only way to start any Wandering Tale is to find a starting clue that will lead you to the location of the quest. It could get confusing to figure out where to start, and some of them are easily missable.
You could always go back to the clue location anytime to pick up these quests. In no particular order, let’s dive in and take a look at how to start and complete all Harvestfall Village wandering tales below.
Eternal Flame Wandering Tales Guide: Where Winds Meet
Head over to the granary and interact with the locked door to start the quest. Near the granary, look around for an NPC called Yan Pengniu. He has the key to the granary, which you can steal using Celestial Seize. After obtaining the key, visit the western side of the village to find the granary entrance. Use the key here to enter, then head down to the cellar.
Be wary of the two guards having a conversation. After they are done, take them out. Investigate the cellar to find the Confidential Letter. Take the letter to Yan Chi, the chief of Harvestfall Village. He resides in the largest house in the village. Handing over the letter will complete the quest, and you will earn the following rewards.

The Long Road Home Wandering Tales Guide: Where Winds Meet
Begin the quest by traveling to the port near Harvestfall Village. At the crossroads between the port and the village, find and speak with the Crazy Beggar to receive your task of retrieving a weapon. Take the western path to the wheat field, continue west past the field to the graveyard, and approach the large tree at the edge. Interact with the gravestone in front of the tree to obtain a Long Spear. Return to the Crazy Beggar and give him the weapon to complete the quest.

The God of Wealth Returns Wandering Tales Guide: Where Winds Meet
Begin The God of Wealth Returns by speaking to Yan Hui in her home just north of the Harvestfall Village waypoint. Your quest objective is to find a God of Fortune Statue. Go to the pier area and search the grass by the large boulder until you receive a prompt to collect the statue. Bring the statue back to Yan Hui to finish the quest and claim your rewards.

Breaking from Tradition Wandering Tales Guide: Where Winds Meet
Visit Yan Qiqiao and Yan Dazhi home found west of the Harvestfall Village waypoint, and eavesdrop on their conversation. They will mention that a missing tablet is part of their family heirloom. To find the tablet, head east of the village to find a Big Yellow Dog under a tree. The Lost Memorial Tablet will be close to it, retrieve it, and head back to Yan Dazhi or Yan Qiqiao to return the tablet and complete the quest.

Child’s Play Wandering Tales Guide: Where Winds Meet
Right at the end of the road leading to Harvestfall Village, you will find a young child who goes by Yan Xier being bullied by other children over a lost doll. To find the missing doll, head further north towards the theater and investigate the benches here. One of them will have the doll, take it back to Yan Xier to complete the quest.
