The character interactions in Where Winds Meet felt surprisingly personal to me. Every chat felt like practicing the art of turning acquaintances into friends, which, in turn, unlocked new features and quests.
I experienced this firsthand while talking to Zhu Bawan. At first, his aloofness compelled me to prod him even further, until he confessed to what he really wanted: 8 Qinghe bowls to serve his customers.
So, being this social butterfly that I am, making friends and influencing people, I couldn’t say no to a request like that; friends look out for each other, after all. It was only after I left his stall that the question dawned on me: Where exactly do I get 8 different Qinghe bowls?
After scouting the land of Qinghe, scavenging enemy camps, and begging players to trade with me, I managed to collect at least 7 Qinghe bowls. But that left me with one missing bowl, the elusive Goose Neck Bowl.
My patience had been tested all this time, but I have finally managed to obtain the final bowl. If you wish to know how I did it, I’ve taken the time to document every step below.
How to Get All 8 Bowls Locations in Where Winds Meet

You need to speak to Wang Queyi and Zhu Bawan in Stonewash Strand, Moonveil Mountain to start the quest. While walking along the wooden bridge in Stonewash Strand, keep an eye out for a vendor stall with two men standing around. You need to start a conversation with them to get the option to ask about the missing 8 bowls.
After Zhu Bawan asks you to retrieve the bowls, you get the option to befriend both him and Wang Queyi. While in the AI Chat, let Zhu Bawan continue his explanation on why he requires his 8 bowls. This will trigger the 8 bowls exploration quest, which you can read about in your quest log.
Best Bowl Collecting Locations

Bowls are random common items that you will find during exploration. There are no fixed spawns for Qinghe bowls, so it totally depends on RNG here. For more specific ways to farm bowls, you might find them while searching the following places.
- Enemy camps
- Enemy drops, especially from lower tiered enemies
- Exploring buildings and looting chests
- Trading with players
Scavenging enemy camps is the easier method of the two, but you might have a tough time trying to respawn the enemies here.
If leaving the area and teleporting back doesn’t work for you, then you might have to wait for the world to reset to have them respawn. Also, leaving one enemy behind in camp, teleporting away and back, seems to reset the camp enemies for farming.
How to Get Goose Neck Bowl

After obtaining 7 bowls, you might still be missing the 8th bowl, the Goose Neck bowl. To get the Goose Neck bowl, head back to Zhu Bawan’s stall and speak to him first, then speak to Wang Queyi. While talking to Zhu Bawan, choose the option to turn in your bowls, but he won’t accept it without an 8th bowl.
After that, speak to Wang Queyi. If your relationship with him is high enough, you get to trade items. Hand over any extra bowl that you don’t require for the quest, and in return, you will receive the Goose Neck bowl. Speak to Zhu Bawan again and turn in all the bowls to complete the encounter. You will get the following rewards.
- Divine Stuffed Fish x2
- Character XP x2000
- Sofweave Dye Powder x2
- Echo Jade x10
- Qinghe Exploration x10
