Palworld’s newest Feybreak Update has added a bunch of exciting Pals to the game. The ones that seem to be most powerful though, are the Tower Bosses: Bjorn & Bastigor. This powerhouse duo seems to love battles and can take down even the strongest of Pals with ease. To help you conquer this duo and claim the rewards they guard, here’s a detailed guide to defeating Bjorn and Bastigor.
Bjorn And Bastigor Location
Bjorn & Bastigor can be found guarding the Feybreak Tower. This tall tower is located in the Southwestern region of the map. Since the land around the tower is usually icy and cold, it’s better to go for armor that can keep you warm. The tower will correspond to the coordinates -1294, -1669.
How To Defeat Bjorn And Bastigor
This fight is one of the toughest ones from the new update. To defeat the duo without dying, follow these steps.
Step #1: Prepare for the Feybreak Tower Boss Fight
To take on Bjorn and Bastigor, it’s highly recommended that your level exceeds 50. Being at a higher level ensures you can carry out powerful attacks easily, giving you a significant advantage in battle. With the Feybreak Update, new Alpha Pals have been introduced, most of which are around level 50 or higher.
Before entering the Tower, you’ll need three key items:
- Dazzi Noct Bounty Token
- Caprity Noct Bounty Token
- Omascul Bounty Ticket.
Defeating the respective Alpha Pals in Feybreak Island will reward you with the Bounty Tokens.
When it comes to Armor, we recommend temperature-resistant Hexolite Armor. These will also help you fight in low temperatures. The more legendary items you have with you, the better. Carry weapons like the Plasma Cannon or Rocket Launcher with you. These weapons do tons of damage and when combined with the right Pal, they can easily defeat Bjorn and Bastigor.
Step #2: Choosing The Right Pals
The Pals you bring along should be capable enough to defeat Bjorn and Bastigor. Since these Tower Bosses are Ice Type, they can easily be defeated by Fire Type Pals. Make sure you are increasing all stats of your chosen Pals.
Some powerful Fire Type Pals are:
Jormuntide Ignis: One of the best Fire Type Pals in the game, Ignis is neutral towards ice attacks. It also has plenty of fire-based skills that can drain Bjorn and Bastigor’s health.
Incineram: This intimidating-looking Pal has abilities like Ignis Blast, Flare Arrows, Spirit Fire, Fire Ball, and various others which will help you in defeating Bjorn and Bastigor.
Blazamut Ryu: This is another fire-based Pal that is a good choice for fighting the Tower Bosses.
Getting the Flame Emperor skill is not necessary but will help you chip away at Bastigor’s health. It increases the power of each Fire attack by 20%.
Step #3: The Tower Boss Fight
Bjorn and Bastigor are great at Ranged attacks.
- Use the pillars strategically to shield yourself from direct attacks. Stay behind them to avoid taking damage while planning your next move.
- Stay clear of the edges, as Bjorn and Bastigor will attempt to trap and freeze you there, putting you at serious risk.
- Pay close attention to the floor during the battle. Areas where Bastigor is about to strike will glow beforehand. The moment you notice this, move away quickly to avoid the incoming attack.
- Let your Pals handle the direct fight with Bjorn & Bastigor. While they are fighting, use your cannon or launcher from a distance to damage the bosses’ health.
- Assign your Pal to battle Bastigor while you focus on bringing down Bjorn’s health. This strategy divides their attention which will give you an advantage in the fight.
Bjorn And Bastigor Fight Rewards
Since this is a Tower Boss Fight, you will be able to unlock a new Fast Travel Point once you defeat Bjorn & Bastigor. Exploring Feybreak Island will be much easier once you get the Tower for yourself.
Besides this, you’ll get enough Character and Pal EXP. The fight will also reward you with 5 Ancient Technology Points.
You can also choose to capture Bastigor and add him to your collection of Pals. Its exclusive Glacial Impact skill can create a massive ice crack in the ground. Once the Ice crack forms, he can send out energy through it, causing an explosion at the spot.
