Starsand Island – Beach Festival Guide

Starsand Island ends summer with an annual beach festival. While the actual event is on Summer 27, you’re invited to help the rest of the residents with preparations on Summer 25 and Summer 26. It’s optional if you actually want to help out with preparing, but you’ll earn coins, Beach coins, and affection with the NPCs you help, so it can be a nice boost.

Luckily, all the preparation quests are basically just errands to get specific items for the residents so they can complete the stalls or events they’re setting up. Both preparation days have you help the same set of NPCs, but the items they want are different each day. However, those items don’t change, so you can have them ready early.

On both days, you’ll need to help Solara, Momo, Delphin, Aurelis, and Lunella. You begin the quest by speaking with Solara at the beach. She’s by the stage that’s being built and she’ll give you the quest to speak to the others and help them. On top of that, you’ll also need to grab at least one trash pile from the beach to clean it up.

As a reward for each NPC you help, you receive 200 Coin, 15 Starsand, 50 Beach Coins, and 20 Affection for that NPC. Here’s a list of the day one items and who to give them to.

    • Solara: 4 Hardwood Planks
    • Momo: 4 Glass Panes
    • Delphin: 4 Iron Ingots
    • Aurelis: 10 Coal
    • Lunelle: 3 Bronze

Once you finish delivering these items, your first day preparing for the beast festival is complete.

You start the second day of beach festival preparation the same way. Head to the beach and speak with Solara. You need to give different items to everybody today, but you get the same rewards. Additionally, you don’t need to clean up trash on the second day. Here are the items you need and who gets what.

    • Solara: 8 Coal
    • Momo: 4 Hardwood Planks
    • Delphin: 4 Hardwood Planks
    • Aurelis: 3 Fine Salt
    • Lunelle: 2 Iron Sheets

Once you finish those deliveries, you can end your second beach festival preparation day.

On the day of the beach festival, talk to Solara at the beach for a rundown of what you can do during the day. The schedule looks like this:

    • 8:00 – Crab Herding. Talk to Crab Boss by Marston’s house to participate. The goal is to chase a crab into the glowing square.
    • 10:00 – Offshore Racing. Borrow a jet ski from Delphin and interact with the board to start. The goal is to get through each checkpoint as fast as possible.
    • 12:00 – Market Opens. Head to the stalls to buy items with your Beach Coins.
    • 19:00 – Bonfire Party. Stella and Sylvain perform on stage. You can join them by going on the stage and playing guitar.
    • 0:00 – Beach Festival Ends.

At the end of the beach festival, you see a cutscene. After it plays, NPCs start going home. You’ll also want to go home, because you pass out at 2:00, then wake up with half of your stamina the next day in Starsand Island if you aren’t in bed before then.
