Encountering NPCs in Hollow Knight: Silksong is a boon, as you always get some exclusive items or unique wishes from them. Eva is one of the more difficult NPCs to find, as you need to venture out to an unknown area and seek her services. You also get to bind with her and get a unique skill. This guide will explain where to find Eva in Hollow Knight: Silksong.
Eva Location in Hollow Knight Silksong
Eva is located at Weavenest Atla’s lower eastern section, and you would have visited this region if you were collecting all the Mask Shards. Her lair is located at the very bottom level of Weavenest Atla, at the eastern end. After unlocking the bench at Weavenest Atla’s lower level, just go east and jump down to find her. Otherwise, if you are starting off at Moss Grotto, the area to reach Weavenest Atla will be blocked by a web. Use the Needolin ability to tear it down.
At the start, she won’t do much, as you need to complete some prerequisites before you get to seek her help. First, collect all 7 Crests in the game, followed by all 20 Memory Lockets. Use the Lockets to upgrade all your Crests and unlock all slots. Then, return to Eva, and she will upgrade your Crests one by one to include more colored slots, improving Hornet’s build in the process.
Note: Focus more on unlocking all slots on the Hunters’ Crest first, since this is the first Crest Eva will upgrade. After that, utilize the remaining Memory Lockets on the other Crests.
How to Bind Eva in Silksong
After all your Crests have been upgraded with the help of Eva, you get to speak to her one last time to bind with her. This unlocks the Sylphsong art, which regenerates Silk while resting on benches. You also unlock the Entwined achievement for being bound to Eva. She will no longer be in the game after completing the bind, making this her final interaction with you before you continue with the rest of your journey.
