The further you keep exploring the world of Ashenfall in RuneScape Dragonwilds, the more side quests you find to pick up. If you are looking to own a powerful two-handed melee weapon – the Granite Maul, then you need to complete the quest for it. This guide will cover how to complete the Granite Mauled quest in Runescape Dragonwilds.

How To Get The Granite Maul In RuneScape Dragonwilds

To start the Granite Mauled quest, make your way to Fractured Plains and head all the way east. The location you need to go is marked above. As you explore this area, you will find a dwarf called Doric just south of Ashien’s Watch. Speaking to him will start the Granite Mauled quest, and you will be tasked with collecting some rare relics under Ashien’s Watch. You need to head over to the Watch, which is located north of Doric’s location, and search for a secret Vault around the area.

Along the way, keep an eye out for Anima Trees to collect Anima-infused Bark, which is required in crafting Granite Maul. The Vault in question is somewhere to the south of Ashien’s Watch, and we have marked the location for it above. To unlock and enter this Vault, you need to activate the four torches in front of the vault door. There are four statues that you need to find and activate for that, and all four statues can be found around the Vault. Just keep exploring and checking behind the ruins to find them.

The Vault can be extra challenging if you are not prepared. Just keep going and defeating all enemies within. There are two bosses to find and beat within this Vault, and you will end up meeting them as you make progress. After defeating the bosses, you will find a statue that will hand over a strange blueprint. Take the blueprint back to Doric to have it interpreted. In return, he will hand over the Imbued Granite Maul Head material and also unlock the recipes to craft Imbued Granite Maul Head, Imbued Leather Wrappings, Ornate Maul Handle, and the Granite Maul.

How To Craft The Granite Maul

Now that you have the recipe, make your way back to your base and head over to the Smithing Anvil. You will require the following materials for each crafting component.

    Imbued Granite Maul Head

    • Wild Anima x4
    • Vault Shards x6

    • Silver Bar x5
    • Blightwood x7
