Wild Zones in Pokémon Legends: Z-A are home to various types and species of Pokémon with unique abilities that you need to complete your Pokédex. For this guide, we’ll cover the Pokémon located inside Wild Zone 2, at the Vert Plaza. You need to be Level 6 or above to access this Wild Zone, and there are two entrances to this area: the northwest entrance (at the top) and the southern entrance (at the bottom). That being said, here’s how to find all Pokémon inside Wild Zone 2 in Pokémon Legends: Z-A.
There are 6 Pokémon to find in Wild Zone 2:
- Kakuna
- Patrat
- Budew
- Magikarp
- Binacle
- Staryu
1. Kakuna

The first Pokémon in Wild Zone 2, Kakuna, is located in the western part of Vert Plaza. Use the northwest entrance beside Vert Sector 2 to access Wild Zone 2, and when you’re inside the area, you’ll notice a flight of stairs directly in front of you. Turn right and walk straight from the northwest entrance to the Wild Zone 2 to find Kakuna sitting in a tree. Use your Pokéballs to catch and add them to your Pokédex. Follow the direction shown in the image above to locate this Pokémon easily.
2. Patrat

The next Pokémon in Wild Zone 2, Patrat, is located in the northeastern part of Vert Plaza. Use the northwest entrance to access Wild Zone 2, then turn left and walk straight ahead, and you’ll find Patrat beside the body of water, near the fences. The exact location of this Pokémon is marked on the image above for your convenience.
3. Budew

The third Pokémon in Wild Zone 2, Budew, is located in the southern part of Vert Plaza. For this Pokémon, use the southern entrance to access Wild Zone 2. Using this entrance will put the Prism Tower in front of you. Once you’re inside, turn left and you’ll notice grass nearby, with Budew in front and another Trainer trying to catch the Pokémon. Use the large grass to hide by crouching, then sneak up on Budew and throw your Pokéball to capture it.
4. Magikarp

The next Pokémon in Wild Zone 2, Magikarp, is located near Budew’s location in the body of water beside the wooden bridge in the southeastern part of Vert Plaza in Pokémon Legends: Z-A. Use the southern entrance for this as well, then turn left and go past Budew’s location straight ahead to locate Magikarp swimming in the body of water, beside the wooden bridge.
5. Binacle

The next Pokémon in Wild Zone 2, Binacle, is located at the center of Vert Plaza in Pokémon Legends: Z-A. Use the southern entrance to access Wild Zone 2, then take the wooden bridge located to the left, near Budew’s location, to head to the center of Vert Plaza. Once you descend from the wooden bridge, you’ll find Binacle on the right near some grass and trees.
Here, you can also find the Swift Ability near Binacle’s location as well, which allows you to fire star-shaped rays at targets. So, while you’re in this location, make sure to pick this ability up before you move on to the last Pokémon in Wild Zone 2.
6. Staryu

The final Pokémon in Wild Zone 2, Staryu, spawns only at night and is located in the northern part of Vert Plaza in Pokémon Legends: Z-A. This Pokémon will not spawn during the day. Use the northwest entrance to the Wild Zone 2, beside Vert Sector 2, then head left to find Staryu swimming in the body of water at night.
