On the second day in the Steppe, you’ll need to go to Isidor’s house to see about preventing something catastrophic from happening. Of course, when you arrive, there’s a massive man kneeling on the floor of Iseldor’s study.
The hulking man, named Oyun, looks incredibly intimidating, and for a really good reason, since he works for Olgimsky. Unfortunately, he’s also really good at taking important things away from you when you need to use them to progress in the story.
It took me far too many attempts to figure it out, but you can indeed leave Isidor’s house and get both the bundle and spore from Oyun in Pathologic 3.
How to Get Oyun to Leave

No matter what you do, Oyun will be in Isildor’s study on the morning of Day 2 in Pathologic 3. He’ll be kneeling on the floor, with various items strewn around him. You can focus on these items later.
Don’t worry about trying to pick up the bundle he left on the table behind him. He’ll ask you to leave it alone until after your conversation with him.
Walk up to Oyun and begin speaking with him. Follow these exact conversational answers for the best possible outcome:
- I could ask you the same question. Who are you?
- Foreman… Is it your job? Or maybe a nickname?
- Thank you. If you don’t mind my asking, what are you doing here?
- You knew Isidor?
- You’re mourning, perfectly understandable. But please understand me too: I’d like to help. I need to know what happened.
- But Artemy isn’t here-only I am. And I need to inspect the crime scene.
- Tell me, Oyun, you serve Olgimsky, don’t you?
- Well, I serve him too. And he asked me to come here.
- Olgimsky… was looking for you. I didn’t realize he meant you at first, but now I understand. You should go to him as soon as possible.
- Olgimsky suspects that this house is contaminated with the plague. And he’s right. It’s dangerous here.
- I’ll reiterate: it’s dangerous here. You are risking your life by staying.
After this conversation, you’ll be asked to locate a mold spore somewhere on the second floor of Isildor’s home. Once you find it, you’ll immediately be brought back to another conversation with Oyun.

You’ll then want to follow this conversational path for best results:
- A sample of the plague mold.
- I’m here on Olgimsky’s orders. He asked me to check the house for any signs of the plague. And I’ve found them.
- That’s right. And also, he was looking for some “foreman”. I saw him ask his people where the foreman was. That’s you, isn’t it? That’s how you introduced yourself to me.
- Why don’t you tell him for me? I should stay and… collect more samples. For research. That’s what Olgimsky ordered me to do.
- I won’t. Nd I’ll make sure no one else does, too, while you’re away.
In the next scene, Oyun will have left the room altogether. Now, you’ll be able to keep the spore you collected, as well as get the bag that was on the counter behind him
What Is Inside the Bundle?
Once you’ve secured the bundle from Oyun, inside will be a Piece of Wood and Isidor’s Box. They will show up in the Artifacts category of the game’s menu.
If you happen to miss this and are still within Day 2, then you can reload an autosave from before this meeting and attempt it again. Just make sure you have enough Amalgam, or else you might as well kiss your attempt goodbye.
