Locating the Mask Maker involves navigating several levels, making it a challenging task to reach this location. How to Find the Mask Maker in Hollow Knight Silksong
Head to Mount Fay’s northwestern corner to find the Mask Maker. Make sure to have Clawline, Swift Step, and Faydown Cloak abilities unlocked before you start making your way there. If you haven’t unlocked the Mount Fay map, visit Shakra west of The Slab’s fast travel point for easier navigation.
To reach the Mask Maker, start from either of the two eastern Mount Fay benches. Use the upward draft to ascend towards where you found the Faydown Cloak ability. Go west, glide down, but steer clear of the second downward slope. Stay between the slopes and climb up to find the Mask Maker’s lair.
What does the Mask Maker do?
Besides sharing insights about the game’s lore, the Mask Maker also upgrades your Silkshot skill to Silkshot III. You need to get the Silkshot skill up to level 2 before it is upgradable to level 3. The first upgrade is offered to you by Forge Daughter, then subsequently visit the Twelfth Architect to get the second upgrade, then visit the Mask Maker for the final upgrade.
Also, if the Mask Maker’s mask bothers you, use the charge attack to unveil him, which leads to more unique dialog options. If you leave the mask on him, revisit the area to find him donning a new mask. If you mess up the dialog options the first time, visit any nearby bench and revisit him to reset the dialogs.
