The Mega Dimension DLC in Pokémon Legends Z-A introduces plenty of new NPCs, each with their own quirky side quests. While exploring Vert District, I ran into one such NPC with a peculiar hobby: inspecting utility hole cover designs within each region.
Before I knew it, she was quizzing me on which Pokémon appear on the Rouge District’s utility hole cover. Luckily, she didn’t punish wrong guesses, but she did have one extra demand. I had to bring her that exact Pokémon in person.
So now I had two tasks: track down the correct cover and capture the right Pokémon. If this side quest left you scratching your head, as it did me, this guide will walk you through everything you need to know.
Side Mission 131: Rouge District’s Utility Hole Covers Guide

The Pokémon on the cover of Rouge District’s utility hole is a female Pyroar. To start side mission #131, speak to Couver east of South Boulevard, west of Station Front. The closest fast travel point is Cafe Introversion. Couver will explain that each district has a unique Pokémon gracing its utility holes. She will point out the example of a Gogoat on the covers around the Vert District.

Soon, she will quiz you about which Pokémon are depicted on the utility hole covers in Rouge District. Plus, she would like to see said Pokémon in person. Travel all the way to the Rouge District in the northern section of the City. You could use the Looker Bureau fast travel point to get to the nearest utility hole cover. From the Bureau, go south and immediately look to the north to find a utility hole cover. You will spot a female Pyroar on the cover.
How to Get Pyroar

If you haven’t captured a Pyroar yet, especially a female version, you will find them in Wild Zone 17. Explore the eastern section of the Wild Zone to find a pack of Pyroar near the Pyroar statue. If you are lucky, you will spot a few females within the herd. Use your best Poké Ball to capture one of them to add it to your party.
Return to Couver and select the Pyroar from your party. If you select the wrong gendered Pyroar, she will say that you are incorrect, so be sure that you have picked the right Pyroar gender. This will end the side quest, and you will get the following rewards:
- ₽ 3,100
- Dusk Ball x20
- Net Ball x20
