There are a lot of Mystic Skills in Where Winds Meet that you can unlock. But one overpowered skill is Celestial Seize, which allows you to pull distant objects. The use case for this skill are endless. You can disarm enemies from their weapons to counterattack, or loot chest or backpacks for resources. If you want to learn how to unlock it, read below.

You get the Celestial Seize Mystic Skill by talking to Qiu Yuehai in Qinghe and then finishing a short side quest. First, head over to the location in Qinghe, as shown in the image above.

At the location, you’ll find Qiu Yuehai outside a hut on the right side of the stairs leading up to it. Interact with him and he’ll point you towards a vial at the table on the right. He’ll then teach you how to perform Celestial Seize.

As for the in-game instructions, you need to hold down two keys, one to aim and one to retrieve. The instructions read, “Adjust your aim until you see the retrieve prompt, then retrieve items from the scene or target’s inventory.”

For the side quest, challenge the man in blue and white clothes, named Hu Wei, for a competition. It will trigger some dialogue between you two. After the dialogue, head over and interact with Qiu Yuehai again. Once dialogue with him completes, you’ll acquire the Celestial Seize Mystic Skill.

Once you unlock the skill, you can upgrade it to handle tougher chests or higher-tier enemy gear. Mystic Skills typically feature four Tiers, each divided into nine Ranks. Every Rank boosts the skill’s baseline performance, while higher Tiers introduce extra effects that significantly improve how the ability works. To upgrade Celestial Seize, you’ll need Ebon Iron and Vicious Fruit.

Below are the perks of each tier of Celestial Seize:

    • Tier 1 – Base Level
    • Tier 2 – Increases bonus damage dealt by 20% on Weak Point Break.
    • Tier 3 – Reduces the target’s attack by 20% for 10 seconds after Weak Point Break.
    • Tier 4 – Further increases bonus damage dealt by 30% on Weak Point Break.

Below are the upgrade cost of each tier of Celestial Seize:

    • Tier 1 Rank 0-9: 2 Ebon Iron each rank (Lv. 1)
    • Tier 2 Rank 0: 5 Vicious Fruit and 2 Ebon Iron (Lv. 1)
    • Tier 2 Rank 1-9: 4 Ebon Iron each rank (Lv. 2)
    • Tier 3 Rank 0: 15 Vicious Fruit and 4 Ebon Iron (Lv. 2)
    • Tier 3 Rank 1-9: 10 Ebon Iron each rank (Lv. 3)
    • Tier 4 Rank 0: 18 Vicious Fruit and 10 Ebon Iron (Lv. 3)
    • Tier 2 Rank 1-9: 20 Ebon Iron each rank (Lv. 4)
