Playing R.E.P.O with your friends or solo helps you survive the horrors lurking during the levels as you try to collect loot and extract out of there. Your main goal is to fill up the quota given to you, and you get paid handsomely for your efforts. But R.E.P.O is full of surprises, as there is a secret section within the store that gives you some added, interesting stuff to purchase. This guide will show you how you can access the secret shop in R.E.P.O.
Where To Find The Secret Shop In R.E.P.O
Some players have been messing around in the shop during their downtime and have accidentally discovered a secret hideout. To get access to this secret area, wait till you are done with a level and are taken to the Service Station. While you are here, take a look around and purchase items like grenades, shockwave grenades, or explosive rubber ducks.
Next, use the item you purchased to push the tiles of the ceiling randomly, and eventually, you will notice that one of the tiles can move. You can then toss your explosive up at the tile to break it. This can take a bit of trial and error, but eventually, you will come across a broken tile that will lead you to a secret area up in the ceiling.
How To Get To The Secret Shop
Getting up to the ceiling can be a bit tricky, but there are a few ways to go about it. In co-op, you can ask a friend to hoist you up, or you can use a cart to climb up there and get inside the secret area. If you are playing solo, then purchase a Feather Drone item or Extra Jump upgrade, then use the cart to hoist yourself up and jump.
What’s Inside The Secret Shop
Some players have different experiences than others when it comes to finding out what’s inside the hole in the ceiling. Usually, there would be a skeleton with a random item stuck to it or an item on a table nearby. Other times, there would be nothing there. The items that you can find up there can range between getting 2 or 3 normal grenades, a few “human grenades”, just one grenade, or a bunch of grenades duct taped together. It is unsure whether looting the items from the secret store will spawn new items during your next visit, but this is a nice little Easter Egg if you wish to get free items during the early stages of the game.
