How to Obtain Legendary Relics in Moonlighter 2
You must complete The Endless Vault III (Third Challenge) to unlock the legendary relics in the game. To complete the challenge, you need to earn 120,000 Gold. Check out our guide on how to make money in Moonlighter 2 to get an idea of how to hit that number.
You will only access the legendary relics right at the end of the dungeon runs. Right before the boss tiles, you will see golden tiles relic rooms, similar to the epic quality relic room before. Unlike the purple color in Epic rooms, the legendary rooms will have a yellow color to them.
These rooms share the same gameplay structure as all other combat rooms, but here, enemies are a bit tougher, and a legendary relic awaits in the end.
Will I get Confirmed Legendary Relics Drops in Legendary Relic Tiles?
The answer is yes, once you complete the combat encounter in legendary enemy tiles or nodes, you will get a treasure box with a legendary relic inside.
While the game has an RNG system, it doesn’t affect the legendary tiles. If you complete the tile, you will get a legendary relic 100% of the time. But if you lose to the boss in the dungeon run, then just like any other relics, the legendary quality level will decrease. This is something to avoid at all costs, since it impacts your ability to make money in Moonlighter 2.
When you are selling the legendary relics, make sure to sell them later in the shop session than putting them first. When you open up the shop, sell the common relics to raise the tip number and the merchant’s perk. After you have activated all the perks, you can focus on putting the legendary relics in the display case. So their selling price will be high, and along with the tip amount per purchase.
