Some areas in Escape from Duckov will be difficult to navigate without the right gear and equipment. The Space Storm areas on the map will cause immense damage if you venture out unprepared. To survive the storm, you require specific gear, but the steps to collect it are unclear. This guide explains how to obtain the Space Protection Gear in Escape from Duckov.
Escape from Duckov – How to Get the Space Protection Suit
Complete Jeff’s questline to unlock the Space Protection Helmet and Suit, as well as the related blueprints for both gear items. Jeff is one of the quest givers who will guide you throughout the game, and he is found near your bunker’s entrance. After completing the Biological Investigation quest from Jeff, you get the required quests listed below:
- Find the Four Horsemen – Unlocks Space Protection Helmet
- The First Test Subject – Unlocks Space Protection Suit
- The Four Horsemen – Unlocks Blueprint: Ultimate Space Protection Helmet
- Koko Koko – Unlocks Blueprint: Ultimate Space Protection Suit
Once you’ve completed the required quests for the suit and helmet, the next step involves acquiring them from Xiaoming’s shop. The helmet costs 3,248 credits, while the suit costs 6,636 credits. Following purchase, proceed to your crafting station to use the blueprints you’ve unlocked for upgrades.
Alternatively, there’s another method to acquire the Space Protection Helmet. You can find it inside the J-Lab Red Room, but you will require the access key card to unlock it. Investigate the crate in front of the central shelf to get the helmet.

How to get Space Storm Protection Injector
The Space Protection Suit and Helmet are not the only gear you require to survive the storm. You will also require the Weak Space Storm Protection Injector. You get the injectors by completing two of Mud’s quests called Storm Resistance and Walking Delicacy. You will get 2x Storm Protection Injectors per quest, and the recipe for it too. To use the Injector, you need to step outside while the storm is active to gain it’s buff.
The enemies within the Storm map are immune to normal bullet attacks. Your best bet to kill them is to get the Electrified MP7 by defeating the Speedy Group Commander at the Warehouse map. Try to keep your distance from the enemy whenever you encounter them and shoot from afar. It is best to avoid confrontation with these entities by running as fast as you can.
