How To Start Sakurajima DLC In Palworld

PocketPair Inc has come out with the first DLC for Palworld – one that has been teased through numerous gameplay reveals and trailers over the past few months. The DLC is focused on end game content and accordingly has weapons, gear, armour, pals and a new island to explore for people who have grinded and covered most of the content on the base game. If you are one of those and looking to get started on the expansion, we have got you covered in this guide with all the details on how to start the Sakurajima DLC in Palworld

How To Reach Sakurajima In Palworld

    Palworld Sakurajima location on map

Sakurajima is located in the north-west part of the map. It is a not a separate island in itself, but is an area that lies north of Icy Wind and Forgotten Island. For a more precise location and marking, the area can also be accessed by going south west from the Astral Mountains. The area will appear as a blank spot on the map, as you travel in that direction the island will get filled out on the map as well.

Is There A Level Requirement For Sakurajima DLC In Palworld

There is no level requirement to access the Sakurajima DLC – however, there is a recommended cap. The island is for those who are mostly through with the base game and are looking for further powerful gear and higher levels. If you approach it early on or at a mid level character, you are likely to get wiped out in no time. It is recommended that you be at level 40 or above before approaching the DLC. You will come across Pals which are at level 42-43 in the early parts of the island, and progressively higher levels as you venture deeper in Sakurajima. Hence, a much better strategy is to grind to these levels in the base game before approaching the DLC.

And that completes everything on the location and recommended level for Sakurajima DLC in Palworld. Do checkout our other guides on the game like Plasteel uses in Palworld or how to unlock the Electric Furnace in Palworld
