How To Get & Use Books In Sultan’s Game

Sultan’s Game is a twisted survival card game where your choices affect the course of the game. Things can go south rather quickly, and it is up to you to figure out the best course of action before making decisions. Reading books is one way of leveling up your skills and learning something new, which also helps you unlock new events. This guide will detail how to get and read books in Sultan’s Game.

You get a couple of interactable options in the main section when you start playing Sultan’s Game, and having a bookstore is one of these features. Once you interact with the Bookstore, you can then get into purchasing a random book. Like most purchases, you require Gold to get it, so gather enough gold first if you don’t have any. Luckily, each book costs just 1 gold, so it isn’t that expensive of a purchase.

Next, you need to place your main character or any other character card into the rightmost slot. You should note that only Nobles can use the bookstore. Then, pick and drop 1 Gold card into the slot right beside them. You can add more gold into the next slot to get more books, then click on the Confirm button to get your random books. You can find your new books available at the bottom hotbar, but you have to wait a day for it to appear.

Once you have your book, you can drag and drop it to the skeleton card at the bottom left corner of the screen. This will bring a new event, depending on which book you have given the skeleton. You can find the new event on the main screen, and you can click on it to get the details. A new screen will appear with a new card slot. Next, you need to pick up a character card of your choice and place it into the slot to get it to read.

You should note that characters should have 3 Wisdom to read a book, so characters who don’t meet the requirement cannot be put here. Reading books can help certain characters learn new skills or upgrade existing skills, which is important if you have certain events that require them.

However, the bookstore has limited books, and after a while you might find the store has run out. Since each book title is unique, you won’t get a replica of the same book twice. But, you can claim the librarian as your servant after that if you have a room to spare and all the books have been sold. They will be added to your deck of cards to use when needed. Sultan’s Game is a lot more complicated than it seems, and we have a guide on using equipment that you can check out to know more.
