The Gem of Lycanthropy in Enshrouded is one of the best Legendary Gems you can obtain, as it offers some overpowered buffs that will make your journey through the land of Embervale much easier. This Gem is obtainable only at night, and you must figure out your way through one of the Night Sanctums to get it. In this guide, we’ll help you find the Legendary Chest that contains this Gem easily in Enshrouded.
Gem of Lycanthropy Location
The Gem of Lycanthropy is obtained during nighttime from a Legendary Chest underneath the Night Sanctum that’s located near Lacemaker Pond. However, to get to the Chest, you need to avoid every trap inside the Night Sanctum and push two Buttons. The traps are easy to avoid; you just need to have your timing right.
Here’s how you go about doing this.
Head Through the Night Sanctum’s Entrance and Take the Elevator
- When night falls, make your way towards the Night Sanctum near the Lacemaker Pond.
- To open the doors to the Sanctum, you need a Spark, which is obtained by discovering and interacting with Flame Shrines and Flame Sanctums all across the map.
- After using the Spark, head inside the Night Sanctum, and walk straight ahead.
- Wait for a few seconds until the elevator comes back up, then travel below using it.
Push the First Button in the Night Sanctum
- Once you’re on the floor below, you’ll notice three rotating spiked traps in front of you. From the elevator, go straight, then take a left.
- On your left, you’ll find another floor trap with protruding spikes.
- Carefully avoiding them, head straight, and take a right to come to the room with the rolling traps, as seen in the image above.
- You’ll notice that there are two ways to go: one to the right and one that takes you ahead.
- Head directly forward to the end of the hallway, where you’ll find more rolling traps, so be careful.
- When you reach the wall, turn left to find a room with the same trap.
- Avoid the traps, and head inside the room to find the first Button directly in front of you.
Push the Second Button in the Night Sanctum
- Now, from the first Button, head back to the area where you found two ways to go, and take the other path this time.
- You will come across the same rotating spiked traps, similar to the ones you faced when you travelled down with the elevator, as shown in the image above.
- From the traps, walk straight and take a left. Then, take another right to find a room with two diagonal rotating traps.
- Behind the traps is the second Button. Avoid the traps successfully, then press the second Button required to get access to the Legendary Chest inside the Night Sanctum in Enshrouded.
Open the Legendary Chest to Obtain the Gem of Lycanthropy
- Walk straight and take a left from the room where the second Button is located.
- Head to the end of the hallway, which will be located directly in front of you.
- Avoid the rotating spiked traps, and move ahead till you come to a place with two paths: one on the right and one on your left.
- Take the path to the left to reach the opened room containing the Legendary Chest. Interact with it to obtain the Legendary Gem of Lycanthropy.
- If you want, you can head back and take the path on your right to find a Silver Chest, containing a Batwing Axe.
