As part of the Wake of Water update, you get to unlock new quests as you explore the water temple. For the Finding Gold Coins quest, you are tasked with locating the hidden gold chest at the upper levels of the temple. This is a slightly difficult quest to complete, since you need to know where to go and learn how to navigate the temple. This guide will explain how to complete the Finding Gold Coins quest in Enshrouded.
How to Complete the Finding Gold Coins Quest in Enshrouded
To start the Finding Gold Coins quest, speak to the Carpenter, and then head over to Drak’Dal Temple, Lake Heartblood. This location is between the Blackmire and Albanieve Summits Ancient Spires. The quest will appear randomly, so keep an eye on your map for the quest marker.
Once you do get the quest activated, head over to the temple and dive down into the water. Swim towards the underwater tunnel and go through it till you reach the other side. Upon surfacing, you will see a puzzle in front of you.
Drak’Dal Temple Puzzle Solution
To solve the puzzle, you must find and press three hidden buttons around the area to unlock the gate. Each button is located in a different underwater tunnel near the gate. The first two are easy; simply take the left and the right tunnels close to the puzzle gate to find a button at the very end of each of the two. The third is a bit trickier.
Enter the tunnel on the left again, then stick to your left while swimming downwards to find another passage. Follow the tunnel to find the third button, then press it to solve the puzzle and unlock the door.
Completing the Finding Gold Coins Quest
Enter the newly opened gate, then quickly swim upwards to get some air. Use the grates to climb out of there, then go up the stairs once you reach the top. Defeat the large enemy here, then use your pickaxe on the piles of gold to reveal the hidden chest. This way, you also get to farm gold coins. Unlocking the chest will reward you with the Drak Temple Roof Block material and the Forsaken ranged weapon.
To exit the temple, backtrack down the stairs and look back up at the treasure area. Up on the ceiling is a spot where you can use your bow and arrow to hit it. This will unlock the temple doors ahead. Or, you could open your world map and teleport to any location to leave the temple.
