When you are using a Launcher in Black Ops 6, you expect it to lock on to the target, but the HE-1 Launcher prefers to take the traditional route, where we have to manually set it to the right angle to hit the target. Many players are having trouble tackling the challenge to hit the aerial streaks with HE-1 Launcher to finish the challenge in Black Ops 6. If you are in the same swamp, then this guide will provide you with some good strategies to help you target the aerial streaks with the HE-1 Launcher.
Strategies To Shoot The Streak
There is no equipment you can install on the weapon to make it target lock, here we will have to to handle the weapon the old-fashioned way. The only working strategy here is to plan the attack beforehand.
What You Shouldn’t Do
Never shoot directly at the aerial streak, it will always miss. By the time the rocket reaches the spot, the streak will move away to a different spot ahead. The distance will heavily impact your shooting, and make sure to plan it out before firing the HE-1 Launcher.
What Should You Do To Destroy Aerial Streaks With HE-1 Launcher
The point at which you aim depends upon the Aerial Streak: It is different for Watchdog Helo, and different for Counter UAVs and UAVs. The size of these aerial streaks (and hence the available hitbox for you to aim at), as well as the relative speed plays a role here.
Note: Suffice it to say if the distance between you and the streak is close, then the chances of you hitting the streak are higher since the rocket here will take a short time to land on the target but if the distance is higher, then you will need to plan a bit more than usual.
Shooting Watchdog Helo In Black Ops 6
In the game, Watchdog Helo will be easier to shoot in the air. While it follows a predictable path, the size of the body allows for a good aim, and you can target such that the body is just visible at the edge of your reticle.
Shooting Counter UAV & UAV In Black Ops 6
The size of the UAV and the distance between us and the UAV is not in our favor.
The real problem will show up when you go against the UAVs. You will need to anticipate their location before pulling the trigger on the HE-1 Launcher. You should point towards the nose of the UAV, and move the reticle around an inch ahead on it’s expected path and then fire. Since they will always fly in the direct line aiming a few inches ahead from their current location compensates for the distance and the time taken to reach the aerial streak. In case of UAVs, no part of the UAV should be visible in the reticle.
